[26 - Finding Beanie-Man]

"Is this...Sou's hat...?" Sara murmured.

[Name] picked up the green beanie on the floor, handing it to Kanna. "You should hold onto it for him."

"O-Okay...!"

"He's gotta be lurking around here!" Reko grumbled.

"H...Hey, look!" Q-Taro pointed further down the hallway. "Down the passage to the right, and the one in the back..."

"It looks like there's attractions, meow!" Gin exclaimed.

Keiji pursed his lips. "You shouldn't be able to enter without a group of two, but..."

"Well, someone has to check it out." [Name] mumbled. "Not it."

"I'll go...!" Sara nodded determinedly.

"W...Will ya, Sara?!"

Keiji shrugged. "Seems pointless to try and stop you. Then you better decide which attraction to do...and who to take along, too."

Looking between the three hallways, Sara decided to go to one with Reko.

"Probably memory dance, if I'm right." [Name] thought. "Yeesh, starting with the hardest first, huh?"

"Leave this attraction to us! Everyone else...search the rest!"

"Guys, if you find Sou...be plenty careful." Keiji warned, splitting from the group with Gin.

"No prob, we'll be fine." [Name] mockingly saluted him, going off to a different path with Kanna.

After watching the pairs leave, [Name] turned to Kanna. "Well, do you have any idea of where he'd be?"

"U-Um..." The girl bit her lip. "I don't think he would be in the lobby, because there's lots of people around...but that's it."

"Oookay, crossing the lobby off our list, then. Let's check out the other places, shall we?"

"...Alright..."

The pair walked around the third floor for any clues of the beanie-wearing man, but he was nowhere to be found.

"Hmm..." [Name]'s eyes narrowed at the broken monitor in the Monitor Room. Crouching, they noticed some splinters in front of it. "Are these wooden...?"

"M-Maybe someone hit it with something wooden...?" Kanna suggested. "...it would explain the splinters...Kanna did see a lot of broken things in that ruined corridor."

"That's true." [Name] nodded. "Wouldn't be too hard to find something to break this, I guess."

"[Name], maybe Sou is still sleeping..." Kanna pointed out. "He could still be in his room."

"Alrighty, let's go then."

Arriving in front of Sou's bedroom door, Kanna knocked a few times out of politeness. To her shock, the door creaked open on its own.

"It's unlocked..." Stepping into the room, their eyes widened upon discovering the man on the floor.
