"For a fake to switch places with Reko, it'd have to happen when she was alone. But is there proof of such a time?" Sou asked the group.

"Yeah, actually, Sara told us earlier." [Name] spoke up, getting a confused glance from her. "The string?"

"Ah..." She pulled out the broken web. "This Web of Happiness, that broke apart earlier...I got this when I went with Reko into the Room of Lies..." Her eyes suddenly lit up with recognition. "Oh, that's right...! At the time she left the Room of Lies...Reko had already been replaced!"

"Sara...!" Reko choked out.

"The lie in the Room of Lies...wasn't just the Web of Happiness. The kidnappers devised it as a trap that would send out a fake to confuse us!"

"...!"

"I get it...then there was more to that room than just putting out a dummy item."

Sou raised an eyebrow. "...Say, Reko, shouldn't you give up soon? Or...you don't mean to deny miss Sara, do you...?"

Reko stayed quiet, her eyes continuing to widen.

"No, Reko! Disprove her, please!" Alice urged.

"You're wrong...I'm...not a fake..." She stammered. "Ain't there still a huge-ass problem...?! If you're saying I'm a fake...then who the hell am I, really?!"

"There's eleven of us here. And even Ranger and Safalin...if someone took someone else's place, there'd have to be fewer people, right?!"

"True..."

"Ranger, please tell us...! Is there any person on this floor we haven't met yet...?" Kanna asked the doll.

"Ehh?" He tilted his head. "Got no obligation to tell y'all th—"

"There is not." Safalin interrupted, her hands clasped together in front of herself. "No human you haven't met will be making an appearance here."

"It can't be...!"

"Get it now?! If nobody could take my place, then there's no goddamn way there's a fake!"

Alice seemed to sigh in relief. "...Sara Chidouin. Cease your doubting."

"....." The room grew quiet again, and Sara's determined expression began to waver once more.

"If their identity is a person Kanna and everyone has already met, then..." Kanna softly gasped, bringing her sleeves to her mouth. "You don't mean...it's one of the victims...?"

"But...but...! If we worry over this any more, Gin will...!" Nao shook her head. "We need to drop the fake!"

"...Nao." Reko looked to the artist with unnerving calmness. "If I'm a fake, Sara could be a fake too, y'know?"

"Eh...?!"

"Didn't she say it earlier? Me and Sara went in the Room of Lies together. Only I was replaced with a fake...? How can you say that for sure, Nao?!"
