[33 - Rushed Games]

"...No! [Name], please, get up! I can't leave you behind!" A faint voice echoed in their ear, sounding as if from far away.

"Huh...?" [Name] tried to rub their eyes and clear their vision, but they couldn't move their limbs. "What the..."

A blurry figure stood above them, shaking them and seemingly saying something, but they couldn't process it clear enough.

"Go...I'll be fine..." The words flew out of their mouth automatically, and [Name] felt themselves weakly push the figure into a brighter light, their arms dropping immediately after.

The figure reached out for them, but the light vanished in an instant. A wave of pain rushed over them, but they were not able to scream, as if their vocal cords were ripped out.

Soon enough, their eyes shut.

"GAH!" [Name] shot up in their bed, eyes wide. Looking over their body in a panic, they breathed a sigh of relief as they could easily move their limbs around, unlike before.

".....What the fuck was that?" They mumbled, putting a hand to their head. "Was that a dream, or...?"

After calming themselves down, they groggily prepared for the day ahead of them, shaking off the weird nightmare.

"Today's the last day, and I still have four attractions to go...gotta hurry up then."

"Good morning, Sou, Kanna." [Name] greeted the two as they entered the Ruined Corridor. The mentioned duo glanced at them with surprised expressions.

"Good morning [Name]...!" Kanna smiled. "Did you have a good sleep?"

"Uh..." They laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of their neck. "Honestly, no. Nightmares and shit."

She visibly slumped, a worried look on her face. "O-Oh, I see..."

"It's no biggie, I'm fine now. But," They pointed at the teal-haired man who was ignoring the two. "Can I borrow him for a bit?"

Noticing the two talking about him, Sou raised an eyebrow. "Huh? Why?"

"Attractions, dumbass. I still have four to do."

"Ah, I see." He sighed, shaking his head. "You might as well finish those before we talk. Don't want you dying on me before we even start."

"Yeah, whatever, let's go." [Name] speed-walked to the Monitor Room with Sou following behind closely.

"...I'll do my best not to get in the way."

"Here's the Clear Chips." They plopped a star into his hand after grabbing it from the inside of the minecart.

Obtained 1 Clear Chip.

"How nice of you. I would've assumed you would take both, considering you need more still." He quipped.

"Shut up."

"Ahaha, alright. See you later, [Name]. That is, if you're not dead..."

Sou laughed, walking off to somewhere. They shot a glare at his retreating figure, clicking their tongue.

"Fucking hell...whatever. Next one."

[Name] tapped Nao on her shoulder, making her turn around in confusion.

"Nao, do you mind joining me on this Attraction?" They asked. "It's the Fly Swatter one, I think."

"Oh, I don't mind! I'm actually trying to get more Clear Chips, ahaha..." She replied, averting her gaze.

"Well, you're in luck, I guess. I'm in the same boat."

Entering the attraction, the two picked up the fly swatters from the ground and aimed at the bugs. "Here goes..."

"Ugh...bugs." They shivered, picking up the Clear Chips and handing one to the girl.

Obtained 1 Clear Chip.

"Those freaked me out..." Nao mumbled. "They're bigger than the average insect, that's for sure."

"Well, we're done with it now, so let's go."

"Okay..."

"Big sib [Name], what are you doing, meow?" Gin tilted his head, approaching them. "You look exhausted, woof..."

"I'm hurrying to do all the attractions quickly, Gin." They responded, panting. "I have two more to go, and nighttime is nearing soon..."

"I'll help you out, meow!" He exclaimed. "You shouldn't work yourself up too much, Mr. Policeman said so, woof!"

"Right...of course he did." [Name] sighed.

Arriving at the Attraction, they gulped realizing which one it was.

"Fucking Memory Dance...shit." [Name] took a deep breath, then turned to the elementary schooler. "Gin, I'll really need your help for this one. Can you help memorize the moves with me?"

"Sure, woof." He nodded determinedly. "You don't have to worry, meow!"

The two steeled themselves for the dance battle with the creatures.

Panting, [Name] dropped to the ground and rubbed their eyes, tired of staring at moving colors without blinking.

"We did it, meow!" Gin hugged them tightly and handed them the Clear Chips.

Obtained 2 Clear Chips.

"Hey, wait a sec." Before [Name] headed off to the next attraction, they noticed something shining in the corner of their eye. "Ugh...not again."

Sighing, they approached the shining button on the dark wall and pushed it without hesitation.

"I'm still confused why they're here, but better safe than sorry. Never gone wrong with a save file." The button disappeared soon after, the saving tune chiming through their ears.

"Alright, one more to go." [Name] headed to the Medical Room, a bead of sweat dripping down the side of their face.

as you can see from the past few chapters, i absolutely suck at writing minigames

so i'm gonna try to make the next chapter all about the last attraction!
