The bar looked exactly how they remembered it, just...more realistic. Alcohol lined the back wall from top to bottom, as well as a few bottles that were placed on the counter. Gin and Mishima were also in the room, looking around.
"Ah, hello again Gin." [Name] waved once the grade-schooler noticed them enter.
"Oh, heya! Are you here to explore, woof?"
"Mhm. Can't drink yet anyway, haha." They responded sheepishly.
"I'm not going to drink when I'm older. I hate alcohol, meow!" He huffed. "I'm never going to a bar after this, woof."
"That's a good idea. You'll grow up to be a super responsible adult, I'm sure of it." [Name] grinned, giving him a thumbs-up.
"...Of course, woof!" He proudly nodded. "Talk to you later, big sib [Name]!"
"Talk to you later."
"Ah, he called me big sib..."
After talking to Gin, they finally walked over to the chalkboard on the wall.
Can Drink
Alice, Kai, Kazumi, Keiji, Shunsuke, Sou, Naomichi, Mai, Megumi, Reko, Q-taro
Can't Drink
Anzu, Kanna, Gin, Kugie, Sara, Joe, Nao, Hinako, Ranmaru, [Name]
"Sure enough, my name's there." They sighed in relief. "Glad they weren't lying."
"Who was, Mx. [Name]?" Another voice in the room asked, making them turn around in surprise.
"Oh, uh, Professor...Mishima, was it?"
The man nodded. "Yes, that is me. And you are Mx. [Name], I presume?"
"Yup, that's me. Did you happen to explore here with Gin?" They asked, quickly changing the subject.
"Ah, actually, he followed after me. The boy said that he was "making sure I won't do anything suspicious," as I recall." He chuckled. "It is unfortunate that I am perceived as the type, mwahaha..."
"...Well, you seem like a nice guy, sir. If that says anything, coming from me." [Name] shrugged.
"Thank you. I see you found something while exploring?"
"Oh, this?" They asked, holding up the notebook in their hand. "Yeah, I found it laying on one of the chairs in a room full of dolls. A bit creepy, I admit." [Name] blinked. "Speaking of notebooks, do you happen to have something I could write with?"
"Ah, I assume that there was no writing utensil that came with it, then. A shame. However, a teacher must always have a pen or pencil on hand, at least." Mishima took a ballpoint pen out of his pocket and handed it to them. "I found this laying next to the chalk for the blackboard, however I see no reason why it would be there."
"...I see. Well, thanks anyway. I'll be sure to pay you back somehow."
He shook his head. "No need. It's just a pen, after all. You'll most likely find a better use for this than I do. Anyway, I assume you're off to explore some more."
"That's right. Thanks for the talk, sir."
[Name] left the room quickly, pen and notebook in one hand.
"Wow, I can't believe I was able to slip past that question smoothly. I need to be more careful with what I say out loud..."
Before they walked off to explore a bit more, [Name] noticed a glowing light next to the vending machine outside the bar. "What the..." Upon approaching it, it seemed to be a small button in the wall.
"Eh...I don't remember this. It could be a trap..."
As if reading their mind, words started to appear above the button on the wall.
Save file?
"A save file? So I can save here?" [Name] wondered. "Hm...gives me Undertale vibes. Why would I need to save anyway?"
"....."
After a few moments of silence, they sighed.
"Eh, fuck it." Pushing the button, a familiar sound chimed through their ears faintly as the button and words faded away, as if it was never there. "Whaaa...well, okay then."
Moving on, they were about to head to the cafeteria next, when they heard faint sounds of gunshots.
"Ah, Russian roulette must've started."
Walking to the central hall, [Name] noticed Reko and Nao looking slightly panicked. Kanna was still asleep.
"Are you guys alright?"
"We heard gunshots," Reko muttered. "Must've come from the game room."
"But we're alright, yes. Thank you for worrying about us, [Name]." Nao gave a soft smile.
"No problem, as long as we're all okay. By the way, did you happen to see anyone run into the game room? After the gunshots, I mean." They questioned.
Reko pursed her lips. "Hmm, no, I don't think so. I think only we could hear it since the central hall connects to everything."
"Oh, but I did see Sou running into the cafeteria." Nao remembered. "Hope that helps some."
"Alrighty, thanks." [Name] nodded, heading to the cafeteria as well.
"But...if they didn't see anyone, how did Alice get to the red room...?" [Name] wondered. "If I remember right, Alice ran into the red room to hide around this time."
Their thoughts came to a halt as they saw a quick glimpse of a dark-green beanie near the back of the cafeteria.
"Aha. There he is." Silently, [Name] tailed him to the back of the cafeteria as well.
"Hm, where is it..." A soft mutter was heard along with the shuffling of clothes. "...Ah. Here we go."
A sound of a door creaking echoed throughout the dimly lit room. Footsteps were heard, then silence again.
"So he knew there was something there, huh? He probably found it earlier though, since Sara was with him. Maybe before they went into the pink room?"
"Ah, well. Time to check out the hidden room, I guess."
