After walking out of his room, Sou and [Name] immediately heard voices from the Ruined Corridor. They both hurried there, not speaking a word to each other.

"Could you come over here and talk to us, Kanna?"

"...I..."

"There's nothing to talk about, is there?" Sou interrupted, standing behind Kanna. "I don't approve of your flirting, Keiji."

"Sou...and..." Sara and Keiji's eyes both widened. "...[Name]?"

"Hey, miss Sara...on a date with Keiji? I don't think this place is all that exciting."

"I could say the same to you." The blond man countered, raising an eyebrow. "Why are they here?"

"Hahaha...I dunno, what do you think?" He turned to the high-schooler with an inquisitive look.

[Name] met his gaze with an equally annoyed expression, rolling their eyes. "....."

The atmosphere grew tense, Kanna looking between the two groups with worried eyes.

"...Well, I'll get straight to the point. We want the laptop back." Keiji stated.

Sou looked at the middle-schooler. "You heard him. What do you think, Kanna?"

She shivered, clutching the laptop tighter in her hands. "...I can't do that..."

"And you heard her. Give it up, Keiji. I was the first one to find the laptop anyhow. Am I obligated to give it "back" to you?"

"What do you intend to do with it?" Sara asked.

"Get some useful information, of course. The truths that Kai Satou was trying to protect..." He tilted his head. "Aren't you afraid...? Afraid of me seeing what's on this laptop. I'm very curious just what you could be hiding."

"If you're suspecting us, I think you're gonna be disappointed." Keiji spoke.

"Then let's sit down and check that." Sou held up the item [Name] gave him. "Seeing as I did find a charger."

His eyes narrowed, looking at them. "...What...? [Name], did you...?"

"....." They stayed quiet, averting their gaze.

"Now, Kanna, give me the laptop." Sou demanded.

"....."

"Don't, Kanna!" Sara shouted. "Look me in the eye...Kanna!"

Kanna closed her eyes and faced the beanie-wearing man. "...Sou...you promised. If Kanna brought the laptop...you would give her that..."

"Want me to go first, huh...? You're surprisingly cautious, Kanna." Sou smirked, digging a hand through his pockets and pulling out a cellphone. "Yes, as promised...here's the phone."

The high-schooler froze, recognizing the electronic immediately. "Wh...stop! What are you thinking, Sou?!"

"...I'll show you the truth. Your sister held this in her last moments. I hope something's left on it..."

With shaky hands, Kanna gave the laptop to Sou and took the phone. Upon reading the message, she clutched it tighter and tears slipped down her cheeks.

"...Sis...ter...you...sister...! I...love you too...! I love you...! Sister...!" They watched silently as the girl cried and wiped her tears with her sleeves.

"...She's happy."

Shaking his head, Sou coughed, a smile on his face. "...I've got the laptop. Got nothing left to say to you guys now, miss Sara."
