Chapter Thirty-Two

"This is humiliating." Katara said. I looked back at her and sighed gripping Aangs hand tighter.

    "You mean getting thoroughly spanked by the Fire Nation or having to walk all the way to the Western Air Temple?"

    "Both."

    "Sorry guys, but Appa gets tired carrying all these people." Aang said I smiled softly and pet Appa.

    "I wonder how the rest of the troops are."

    "They're probably on their way to a prison. Seems like my dad just got out and now he's going back in."

    "I miss Pipsqueak." I miss my brother.

    "I miss not having blisters on my feet." I giggled quietly.

    "Hey, we're here! I can feel it!" Toph said smiling as she stomps down.

    "Uhhh ... I think your feet need their eyes checked." Katara said. I shook my head.
Cut to Aang with Sokka behind.

    "No, she's right. We are here!" I smiled before running to the edge of the cliff. I opened my glider and dove down.

*time skipI

    "Wow ... it's amazing!" I said smiling. Aang's arm wraps around my waist as he smiles down at me.

    "It's so different from the Northern Air Temple. I wonder if there are any secret rooms." Teo said. I tilted my head and looked at him.

    "Let's go check it out!" Teo and The Duke follow Haru. Aang and I tries to, but we instead get cut off by Katara.

    "You guys go. I think we need to talk about some things."

    "I'll race you, Duke."

    "I told you, it's The Duke!" The three head off. I pout at Katara as Aang grips my waist tighter.

    "Why can't we go?"

    "We need to decide what we're gonna do now, and since you're the Avatar and Protector, maybe you should be a part of this."

    "Fair enough. So, what's the new plan?" Aang sits down pulling me on top of him. He's been so clingy since we left the fire nation. I'm kind of worried about him.

    "Well, if you ask me, the new plan is the old plan! You just need to master all four elements and confront the Fire Lord before the comet comes." I played with a small flame in my hand. The rainbow swirled around in my hand slowly.

    "Oh, yeah. That's great, no problem. I'll just do that."

    "Aang, no one said it's going to be easy." I said softly.

    "Well, it's not even gonna be possible! Where am I supposed to get a firebending teacher?" I raised my hand.

    "We could look for Jeong Jeong!" And of course I got ignored.

    "Yeah ... right. Like we'll ever run into Jeong Jeong again." I groaned loudly.

    "Who's ... oh, never mind. If it's important I'll find out."

"I'm a master fire bender."

    "Oh well, guess we can't come up with anybody. Why don't we just take a nice tour around the temple?" He ignored me and then moves me off his lap. He and Momo fly off.

    "What's up with him?"

    "There's gotta be someone who can teach him firebending." I groan louder and heat up the area catching their attention.
