I woke up feeling like I was floating. But it was windy. Did I fall asleep on deck? Did Zuko carry me out here? What the heck!

"Katara when is she going to wake up?" Who is that?

"Aang you have asked that at least 100 times give her time." Maybe that's Katara? I groaned and sat up.

"SHE'S AWAKE!" Suddenly I was lifted up and spun around. Then I was kissed by a boy with an arrow there were sparks but I didn't know him. I pulled away wide eyed. "Ardema?"

"It's Princess Ardema. Who are you? Where am I? Where's my brother?" I said moving away from arrow boy to bump into a tanned boy I moved and sat in the middle of the large saddle.

"Oh no..." the tanned girl said as the arrow boy sat in front of me. They all got closer to me and I smiled kindly.

"You don't remember me?" The arrow boy asked. I shook my head.

"I remember it getting colder on the ship as we got closer to the southern water tribe for the second time in 2 and a half years." I said.

"Do you remember getting burnt?" I burrowed my brows.

"What where?" I looked down and saw a huge scar along my side. "What happened?!" I looked up at them and saw Aang watching me. He looked quite sad.

"You fought against your brother...you were trying to save their village...save me." He whispered, I watched a tear slide down his cheek before he stood up and walked to the front of the animal.

"I'm the Protector I've known that since I was 7. If you're the Avatar the clearly I had to choose you." I said crawling to the arrowed boy. He looked at me and nodded before a flying lemur landed on my shoulder. "Hi little guy!" I said smiling. For some reason 'Momo' popped out at me as I looked at him.

     "Ardema?"

"Momo." I said, the little lemur chittered and nuzzled into me.

"Ardema?" I looked up and saw the tanned boy looking at me. "My name's Sokka, you're my best friend." My eyes widened and he smiled then sighed. "Take your time remembering, but please hurry. We all missed you." I looked back and saw Aang looking away from me. His orange clothes bellowed in the wind and he stayed quiet.

"I'm sorry." The siblings moved away from me, I kept my eyes on Aang.

About 20 minutes later, I crawled onto the bisons head next to Aang. He looked at me with a sad smile. I bit my lip and laid my head on his shoulder, his arm snaked around my waist. I felt safe? Loved?

"Aang, I want so badly to remember but what if I never do? I want to remember you." Tears streamed down my cheeks. He smiled and caressed my face gently wiping my tears.

"I don't care how long it takes. I'll do whatever it takes for you to remember." I felt very drawn to him. I bit my lip and smiled at him.

"Aang?" I questioned, he looked at my lips as I said his name.

"Ardema." I could feel my heart in my ears as my face turned hot realizing how close we were.

"Can I steer? I have to pee." I said pulling away with a smile. He laughed and nodded. He handed the reigns to me.

"You've never steered but I suppose. But I suppose. Just lead him down towards that mountain." I nodded and did as he said his hands rested against mine, guiding me. I watched our hands for a moment and then landed us. He helped me off Appa and I ran away to potty.
