Marinette and Damian had an arranged marriage. They loved each other.

Marinette is the princess to the Asian throne and Damian is the heir to the league of assassins. Marinette being a princess meant that Damian is a prince.

Damian didn't tell his family about her. Marinette on the other hand her family knew. One time Marinette was walking through Gotham with a cloak. When she was cornered. Red robin and robin came to the rescue and Marinette immediately hugged robin.

Red Robin started screaming when he hugged back. They took her back to the cave. The batfam almost fainted when they saw Marinette they immediately recognized her as Princess Marinette of Asia.

They started bowing and it was all awkward because Batman was kinda fanboying. Damian just scoffed and grabbed her and took her away. The family was shouting after them reminding Damian that she was royalty.

The next day when the batfam walked into Damian's room and found them making out. The awkwardness started all over again. At breakfast they explained everything. And they were freaking out cause like Damian is royalty. It was chaos. And daminette loved it.
