Narrators pov:

Dumbledore raised his hands and beckoned for silence, the sea of students calmed and they all looked to him in anticipation of his yearly speach.
"Welcome back students, it is my duty to inform you first of all that their will be no Quidditch this year becau-"
The professor was broken off by a multitude of uproars from all the House tables, but by far the most effected by the news was the Gryffindor table.
"No Quidditch?" Harry cried to Ron
"They can't cancel Quidditch! Hermione is it true? Can they acctually cancel Quidditch?" Ron asked Her desperately.
"Well of course they can, its only a sport" Hermione awnsered rather snootily.
"Hes joking, he's got to be joking" Fred said to y/n and George.
"He wouldn't cancel Quidditch, he can't.. I mean its Quidditch" George cried flying his arms in the air.

"SILENCE!" Albus ordered. "If you'll let me finish i have some rather exciting news for what this year entails-" Once again the man was interrupted but not by the students this time. The enchanted ceiling suddenly began shooting lightning across the hall and sudden bursts of rain began to fall. All the children let out crys and screams as they covered their heads protectively. Then out of the shadows a large man came limping in and shot his wand to the ceiling quickly fixing it.
"Ahh Alistor" Dumbledore greeted.
"Thats mad eye moody" Ron whispered.
"You mean the famous Auror?" Y/n questioned
"Auror?" Dean asked with a tilted head from down the table.
"Dark wizard catcher" y/n awnsered him.
"Half the cells in Azkaban are filled 'cos of him" Ron explained.
Fred nudged George "what do you reckon that is he's drinking?"
George looked to see the man rapidly drinking a liquid from a small flask which he quickly hid back in his jacket.
"I 'dunno but I don't think its pumpkin juice" George awnsered suspiciously.

"May I introduce youre new Defence against the Dark Arts Teacher Proffesor Moody" Dumbledore said signalling towards the dishevelled looking man. Moody hobbled over to his seat not acknowledging anyone but y/n couldn't help but notice one of his eyes. The not so normal eye, kept flickering over to Harry.
"Now let's try again shall we" Dumbledore spoke "This year Hogwarts will be hosting the Tri Wizard Tornaments"
"Wicked" Fred and George whispered in unison.
"It is indeed quite Wicked" Dumbledore said with a smirk "but let me warn you, the Tri Wizard Tornaments contain deadly and harsh tasks. They are not for the faint hearted."

Y/n noticed Fred and George looking intently at eachother at the thought of competing.
"You two are not entering" she whispered harshly, while sounding an awful lot like Molly "its too dangerous, people die in these challenges"
"Chill Reverie" Fred began.
"We can handle ourselves" George finished while sarcastically brushing his shoulders.
"Idiots" she said trying her hardest to sound frustrated but her heart swelled slightly due to George being friendly with her again.
As though Dumbledore had read her mind the man continued "Although I must inform you that in agreement with the Ministry we have applied a reasonable age restriction meaning that all Tri Wizard champions wishing to compete must be 17 or over."
Huffs of disappointment quickly sounded through out the hall.
"Thats rubbish" George whispered to y/n.
"I think its perfect, can't have either of you two getting yourselves killed now can we?" She joked back to him.
Alicia watched the pair chatting and began fidgeting in her seat.
"Hey are you okay?" Angelina said placing a hand on Alicia's arm.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine" She awnsered through gritted teeth.

"Now as I said Hogwarts are hosting the games, which therefore means we shall also place home to two other schools, who will both have participating champions in the Tornament" Dumbledore explained proudly. "Now may I welcome the lovely ladies of the Beuxbatons Accademy" He waved his arm towards the door to the Great Hall and they swung open. All the students followed there eyesight to the entrance in anticipation.
