"How's this?" Seamus called to Harry, regarding the flourishing of his wand.

"Yeah really good mate." Harry encouraged "keep it up."

"Urm Harry i was wondering if maybe I could practice on my patronus a bit more." Asked Luna.

"Yes of course you can." Smiled Harry, "here come with me." He beckoned the enthusiastic blonde over to a more private corner, where she was free to practice the enchantment.

The familiar tall ceilings and blue hue of the come and go room, released a sence of comfort in the children that had felt long forgotten over such an uncertain holiday period.

"Its quite wonderful isn't it?" Sighed Hermione.

"Really wonderful." Y/n agreed "And Harry's in his element isn't he?"

"Totally." She nodded "its like when he's helping other people he forgets about everything else."

"Y/n heads!" Shouted Fred.

She quickly ducked out the way of a flying puddle of red paint.

"Merlin!" She gasped, looking to both the boys in shock "how'd you manage that?"

"Wasn't me." Said Fred, pointing over to George.

"I Urr dunno." George shrugged "guess I'm just a natural."

"At what?" Said Hermione in that all too familiar know-it-all tone, "flicking paint across the room? That's not really a skill is it?"

"Watch your tone Granger. Or there'll be alot more paint headed your way." Warned George.

"Oi shh you." Said Y/n "Hermione George is very talented so watch your mouth." Said Y/n "and George there will be no flicking of paint anywhere near Hermione."

"You're doing my job for me." Chuckled Harry.

"Oh yeah...sorry." she laughed.

"No no keep it up, id rather you than me in all honesty." Harry said.

After a while of refreshing their minds and wands, Harry stood forwards and clapped his hands "i think that perhaps we can heat things up a bit."

"How so?" Asked Ginny.

"Maybe some dueling?" He suggested.

"Yess!" Dean and Seamus gasped excitedly.

"Do you think that's a good idea after what happened last time." Whispered Hermione, in a voice that was loud enough for everyone to hear, so there wasn't really much point in the whisper.

"Y/n what do you think?"

"I mean I don't see why not." She shrugged "I've gotten alot better, don't you think boys?" She looked to the twins for reassurance.

"She has." Nodded Fred enthusiastically.

"Very talented." Added George.

"Well then there you go." Nodded Harry "how about y/n you don't use a wand to duel? Seemimg as you've got your...extra abilities, it might not be fair for you to use both your wand and the purple stuff."

"Its just magic" she sighed "I don't know why you all keep calling it that. And anyways how do you expect me to duel someone without a wand? Thats not fair."

"Seems fair to me." Seamus said.

"Shut up Seamus." Brushed off Ron.

"I'm going to be supervising the whole time, if anything gets out of hand I'll be right here. But I really think this is the best way for you to perfect using it." Reasoned Harry "if we do end up facing death eaters again. Which i suspect we will. Your magic might just be what sets us ahead. No one will ever expect it, nor will they know how to deal with it. But its no use if your not confident enough to use it, is it?"
