Narrators pov:

Y/n hated the train station. It was so clustered and busy. The air was thick with the stench of vehicle exhaust and cluttered garbage. She held on to Georges hand tightly. Being back at the train station meant being one step closer to Hogwarts. She knew it sounded pathetic, and she loved her school, but things were different now.

She watched the bustling hive of activity that was Kings Cross Station. Some people pulled brightly coloured luggage bags behind them, while others just brought themselves. Everytime somebody sauntered past she was sure to get a whiff of there own individual aromatic fragrance. Just then she spotted what appeared to be a stray dog. She strained her eyes. That wasn't just any stray dog.
Letting go of Georges hand she pulled on Harry's sleeve.

"Harry is that?" She pointed.

"Come on" he encouraged, the two of them followed after the dog.

"Y/n where are you going?" George called, but it was too late she had already run off with Harry.

Harry and y/n watched as the stray dog wandered into a empty room and sure enough they saw thorough the window, the dog transfigure into the one and only Sirius Black.

"Good thing Muggles don't pay attention to anything" y/n nudged Harry.

"Sirius what are you doing here?" Harry said shutting the door behind him.

"I had to see you guys off didnt I?"

"You being here is dangerous" y/n hissed.

"We don't want to see you shut back in Azkaban" Harry reasoned.

"Whats life with out a little risk hey? Anyway come over here both of you i want to show you something"

Sirius pulled from his coat pocket a small crumpled bit of paper.

"The original Order of the Phoenix" Sirius explained as Harry unfolded the parchment. Pointing to two kind looking people Sirius let out a sad sigh "Frank and Alice Longbottom"

"Nevilles parents" y/n said sadly.

"They suffered a fate worse than death if you ask me" y/n watched as Sirius stared at the picture, his eyes had a ghostly emptiness to them. "Fourteen years" he said shakily "fourteen years since I last saw youre dad and not a day goes by I don't miss him"

Harry nodded knowingly. After a moment of silence where all three sat thinking about the lives that had already been lost Harry spoke up "do you really think there's going to be another war Sirius?"

"It feels like it did last time" he awnsered honestly.

Y/n Looked up at the clock and suddenly realised the time "Harry we need to get going, we'll miss the train"

They were all saying there goodbyes when Sirius turnt to y/n. He put his hands on her shoulder lovingly "Y/n whatever might happen this year, please know you are good. You are a good person. A brilliant person. And I have a feeling this year isn't going to be easy but please, please remember you are good no matter what anyone says or does. I believe in you" he placed a kiss on her forehead.

Her eyes swelled up slightly. She felt like this was more than a goodbye. "Thankyou" she hugged him tightly.

"We'll miss you" both Harry and Y/n said before making there way to the Hogwarts express.

Y/n was looking around the platform for George, she knew she was growing too dependant on him but he was her safe space. She'd never admit it but With everything going on at the moment she felt constantly scared, but when with George she felt calm and was able to forget.
