you and your twin brother dally got separated at 14. you and your sisters decide to go be with him again after your parents died when you turn 17. you find more than just your brother and friends. you find love, hurt, happiness, and heartbreak.
we arrived at sodas and he got his dx clothes. "cmon we're gonna be late" steve said. "SHOTGUN' i said getting in front. "ah cmon" steve said getting in back. we got to the dx about 5 minutes later. "what can i do boss" i asked the boss at dx. "work the register. i'll be back later" he said walking out. "yes sir" i saluted him. we all laughed and i hopped on the counter and waited for costumers.
after about an hour 3 soc girls walked in. "hi how can i help you?" i asked smiling. "where's sodapop?" the middle girl said rudely. "he's busy working in the back so i'm working the register today" i said nicely. "i wanna see soda" she said. "well i'm sorry he's busy so if you aren't here to buy anything i'll have to ask you to leave" i was losing my patience.
"i wanna see soda" she said again but this time she slapped me. "i wouldn't do that" soda said walking in. "oh yea? why? what's she gonna do?" she said angrily. "don't mess with her i'm warning you" soda said. " why she's just a scrawny little slut who's probably only here to get in your pants" she said and slapped me again.
"THATS IT' i hopped off the counter and started beating the shit out of her. after i probably broke her nose soda pulled me off of her and she yelled "BITCH" and i tried to attack her again but soda held me back. "DONT COME BACK' i yelled as they ran out. "your feisty today" soda said laughing. "shut up or your next" i said sitting back on the counter. "let me clean the cut on your cheek" he said getting a rag. "no thanks. makes me look tuff" i said. "okay suit yourself" he said and kissed the cut and went back to work.
5:oo pm
"soda steve let's go!" i yelled. "coming!" they both said. once we got home amber ran up to me and said "what happened to your face this time?" "some bitch got on my nerves at the dx" i said sitting next to dal. "what'd she do" hazel asked. "she called me a slut and said i was only there to get in sodas pants" i said.
"so you beat the shit out of her right?"dally asked "obviously" i said high fiving him. "yea and don't get on her bad side she almost beat me after when i said she was feisty" soda said laughing. "wanna go to the lake tonight y'all?" i asked. "yeehaw" johnny said laughing. he always said that when i said y'all. "shut it johnnycakes" i said. they all laughed. "yea i wanna go" dal said "me too it'll be fun" the rest said. "i'm gonna go change" i said "ok" they all said

i walked into the family room to see if dal had a shirt i could wear over. "hey dal do you have a shirt i can wear over my suit?" i asked. i looked and everyone was staring except dally and darry tried not to but he did a little bit. i just laughed "you all have a little drool on your mouths" i said laughing. "stop staring at my sister creeps" dally said. "yea pony stop staring at my sister your dating me remember?" hazel said sitting in his lap "you look even better baby" pony said now staring at hazel

(hazels swimsuit above) "thanks pon" hazel said blushing. "well do you or not dallas?" i said getting mad. "yea just go get it from my room" he said. "thanks dal" i said going to his room. after everyone was ready we went to the lake. hazel pony dally steve soda and i went in dally's car and the rest went in darrys.
everyone got in the water except johnny two soda and i. johnny and two made a sandcastle and soda and i sat in a blanket on the dock. "you look gorgeous tonight mae" soda said. "thanks pepsi-cola you don't look to bad yourself" i said blushing. we sat there staring into each others eyes. it's like everyone around us disappeared. i don't know why but a surge of confidence came over me and i grabbed soda and kissed him. after a moment we pulled away
"i uh i'm sorry" i said awkwardly but he just kissed me again. after we pulled away i heard dally yell " GIMME MY MONEY DARREL" "I WILL LATER" darry yelled back. "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT" soda and i both yelled "we made a bet. i said emma would make the first move and darry said soda would" dally said laughing. "rude" we both said. soda picked me up and threw me in the lake. "YOU ARE GONNA PAY FOR THAT" i said getting on the dock and pushing him in. then i jumped in after. the rest of the night we all had fun at the lake.
