the next morning

i woke up and was in sodas hoodie and shorts on the couch. I assumed it was about 6:30 because nobody else was awake yet. then dal walked in. "shhh you'll wake soda up" i whispered carefully getting up careful not to wake him. "sorry" he said "it's fine. where ya been dal?" i asked. "out" he said opening a water. "with a girllll?" i said leaning on his shoulder. "what's it to you?" he said "i am your twin dal" i laughed sitting down. "i know" he said. "who is it i won't tell" i said.

"promise not to tell anyone emma?" he said "pinky promise" i smiled. "fine it's cosy. we've been seein eachother for about 2 weeks now" he said "NO WAY COS?" i kinda yelled. "SHHHH" dal said. "whoops sorry. congrats dal just please don't hurt her" i said.
"i won't she's different than the others" he smiled. it looked genuine too so i went and brushed out my hair until darry came out to make breakfast.

i brushed my teeth and went and sat down on the couch carefully moving sodas head onto my lap. then two walked in. "dont slam it!" i said loud enough for him to hear. but he didn't listen he just slammed it anyway and soda jolted up. "see what you did two-shit?" i said angrily. "he's alright sensitive" two laughed getting a beer

"can i punch him now soda?" i whispered. "why?" he looked confused. "he woke you up you looked so peaceful" i said kissing his head. "it's ok mae but if you really wanna i ain't gonna stop ya" he laughed so i went and slapped two in the face. "OWW what the hell mae?" he said hitting the back of my head softly but hard enough to send a message.

"you woke up my man you deserved it" i laughed and sat back down.  then steve walked in with rachel sawyer and cosy. "rachel cosy!" i yelled and hugged them. "hi mae! how ya feeling?" rachel said while i hugged sawyer. "much better thanks" i smiled sitting next to soda again. "nobody ever really told us the story as to why you were in the hospital... are we allowed to know yet?" sawyer asked.

"idiots. yes you are" i said hitting dal and sodas heads. "ow" they both said. "whatever. so uh i beat up sandy and don't worry she isn't pregnant anymore so it's fine. amber was all hacked off and we had an arguement and i pissed her off so much she kicked me out which were ok now just btw but anyway so i went to the dx for water and chandler showed up and nearly killed me. luckily they found me in time" i said laying on sodas shoulder.

"oh i'm so sorry" sawyer said. " yea that's awful" rachel and cosy both said. "it's alright. he might leave if he thinks i'm dead so" i said. "i hope he leaves otherwise i might kill him if i ever see him again" soda said angrily. "calm down sodie i'm right here okay?" i said reassuringly "yea i still hate him tho. i wish i would've been able to protect you" he said sadly and i just hugged him tight.

"i get it man i'd do the same for cosy" dally said and me and cosy just started laughing and dally yelled
"SHIT SORRY COS" and he put his head in his hands "it's fine tex they were gonna find out soon anyway" she laughed it off and they told everyone they were together. "hey what about your sister dallas?" i scoffed pretending to be mad.

"of course you are my twin" he smiled. "hey we're right here" amber and hazel laughed. "you guys too. and johnnycakes of course" he said. "wow dal thanks" the others all said. "just being honest man" he said and we all laughed.
