it's been a week since i started talking to the gang again. i got a job at dingos and once i start making more money dally finally agreed to let me pay the bills. i know we're twins but i'm still feeling and i need to take care of them. me and darry have been talking to each other about our feelings more and it feels good to talk about it. We have all been together a lot lately. hazel and dally have been trying to keep me in check so i don't lose it again. i've been trying to help them cope with ambers death because of how much they helped me they didn't have time to themselves.

"you okay mae?" i said as i walked in emma was in deep thought. "yes sorry just thinking" she smiled.
"ok soda and steve wanna do something with you evie cosy and i today" i said."ok i'll get dressed" she said and went in the bathroom. i walked out and soda steve cosy and evie were sitting there.

"well whatd she say?" soda asked. "she's in" i said sitting with cosy. "good" soda said getting up and walking to her room.
"hey she's changing" i yelled but he kept walking.

"mae can i come in?" i asked knocking.
"yea come in!" she yelled. "hi gorgeous" i said as she was curling her hair. she had on a white dress with my red flannel and white converse. "hi sodie" she smiled. "you look beautiful" i said. kissing her cheek.

"thanks not too bad yourself" she giggled. "what are we doing today?" she asked smiling. "quadruple date!" i said tickling her. "sodie I have a curling iron in my hand i wouldn't do that." she said angrily but laughing. "ok ok fine" i said laughing but backing away. "wait come back!" she said sadly. "promise not to burn me?" i said

"pinky promise" she said. "good are you almost ready" i asked. "yes this is the last piece of my hair" she said turning of the curling iron. "yay!" i said and kissed her. "i love you" i whispered hugging her. "i love you more" she said kissing my nose.
"let's go have fun!" she said happily. i'm so glad she found herself again i've missed my angel.

"y'all ready?" i asked walking out. "yeah what took you so long you having fun in there?" steve asked and dally smacked him. "for your information no i was curling my hair but whatever let's go!" i said.
"okay we have to pick up rachel and sawyer" cosy said. "okay i'm glad there coming too!" i said and we got in the car and picked them up.

"hey guys this is my sister octavia she wanted to tag along" sawyer said. "oh hi nice to meet you!" i said. "you too!" she smiled. "sodie where we goin?" i asked. "dingos" he said taking my hand. "they better not make me start my shift early" i scoffed. they all just laughed and we got seated. alice was our waiter. (ambers old friend) "hey guys! how are you?" she asked. "good alice you?" i said smiling.

"good! what can i get you to drink?" she asked. "i'll have pepsi" i said. "same here" soda said. "water please" cosy dal steve and evie all said.
"coke thanks!" rachel sawyer and octavia said. "i'll be right out with those!" she said "thanks alice" i smiled. "so octavia how old are you?" i asked. "i'm 20 and you can call me O octavia is long" she said sorta laughing.

"oh darrys 20!" i said smiling. it made me think of amber but that's okay. everything makes me think of her anyway. "we should introduce you guys! i'm his brother!" soda said. "i bet if he's as nice as all of you i'll be his great friend" she said. "yep!" i smiled and we ate and went to the curtis's house. "hey dar! hey pony hazel two and johnny" i said. "hey mae" they all said.

"guys this is sawyers sister octavia she's darrys age"soda said and introduced her to the others. "let's play truth or dare!" two yelled. "you are so random two-bit" i laughed but we started playing. "ok emma truth or dare" two-bit said
"uhmmm dare" i said.
"i dare you too sit on sodas lap in just his flannel for the rest of the game" he said.
"ok that's easy" i went in the bathroom slipped off my shoes and dress and buttoned up sodas flannel then went and sat on soda. "ok soda truth or dare" steve said. "truth" he replied "what is your favorite thing about emma" he said.

"well everything of course but i love how no matter what she is there for you when you need it most and she always knows how to calm you down and help you get back up" he smiled and kissed my head. "thanks sodie" i smiled and kissed him. "i love you" i said. "i love you more" he said. "that's my line" i said turning away. "i love you most" i whispered and we both laughed.

"you guys are adorable" O said. "thanks" we both said laughing. we played a couple rounds but then two asked octavia. "O truth or dare?""truth" she said.
"what's your full name" he said. "octavia jo combs" she said. "jo?" me and darry both said sadly.
"yes why?" she laughed a bit. "t-that was-" darry started and i finished. "ambers middle name" "oh i'm so sorry i didn't know" she said.

"it's ok it isn't your fault that's your middle name" hazel smiled. me and darry both went in the kitchen and got a beer. "amber would kill me if i let you have that" he said starting to cry a bit. "welp you can't stop me" i said starting to cry too."emma your breaking your dare" two yelled. "give me a sec" i yelled back. "we got this okay? she wouldn't want us to dwell on it. it's octavias middle name it's no biggie okay?" i said.

"okay. thanks mae" he said kissing the top of my head and i went and sat back down on soda.
"you alright?" he asked. "i am now" i smiled and kissed his nose. we played truth or dare until we all got drunk from dares. except soda of course but we all fell asleep.
