summer was flying by so fast. i was dreading the end. we still had a mint and 1/2 but i was still dreading it. i have been in tulsa for a little over a month now. In that time i have grown very close with steve soda and two-bit. hazel and pony are almost always together now. Amber's always at work or with darry.

I bet soda 20 bucks that there dating. but i barely see her anymore. dally and i watch a movie together every thursday but i'm usually with soda steve and two. I have started having nightmares about my parents and fred. dally's the only one who knows. soda notices that i act different but he doesn't ask because he knows it upsets me.

After i met soda it made me realize how much i missed having my best friend. Fred was more of a child to my parents then me and dally. that's probably why they started hating me even more when fred died. I missed him a lot but it's okay because i have the gang now. Dally's the only person i've told but...i realized i am head over heels for soda. I shouldn't be but i can't help it. he's perfect. how could i not? but i snapped out of my gaze to

"earth to emma" i looked up and saw soda. "hey sorry what's up?" i said smiling. "nothing just wanted to make sure your okay you were in deep thought." he said sitting next to me. "i'm okay thanks" i said laying on his shoulder.

"earth to emma" i said snapping her out of her thoughts. "hey sorry what's up?" she said.  "nothing just wanted to make sure your okay you were in deep thought." i said sitting next to her. "i'm okay thanks" she said laying on my shoulder.

"you have work today?" she asked. "unfortunately" i said sighing. "can i tag along?" she asked. "always" i said. "i'll get ready. do i need to make breakfast or has someone already?" she asked. "nobody has but i'll make it you get ready." i said and kissed her forehead walking to the kitchen.

i started making breakfast. i couldn't get mae out of my head. i love her. i shouldn't but i just couldn't help it. she has beautiful hair,eyes, smile, laugh. she's amazing. but i got startled by dally saying "SODAPOP YOU BETTER NOT BURN MY FOOD".

dally

i walked in the kitchen and saw soda making breakfast. but he wasn't focused so i yelled. "SODAPOP YOU BETTER NOT BURN MY FOOD" he jumped like 3 feet in the air. "sorry i zoned out" he said sadly. "what's wrong" i sighed. i didn't care but i had to ask. "oh uh nothing." he said. "is it about my sister?"i asked. "what why would i be upset about emma?" he asked.

"soda i have 3 sisters and you automatically thought of emma so what about emma is making you upset" i said sternly. "you caught me. promise not to tell?" he said. "yea yea just tell me" i said annoyed. "well i uh i'm in love with her but, how could she ever love me? i'm just a dropout who can't keep a girlfriend. she could never feel the same" he said putting food on my plate.

"soda. i know my sister. how can you not tell how she feels about you" i said eating "she sees me as her best friend that's how she feels"he said. "soda my sister likes you. it's obvious. you have my permission to ask her out if you want too" i said. "really" he asked "yes soda" i said. "thanks dal" he said hugging me "no i don't do hugs man" i said. "just let me hug you" he said laughing. "fine" o said hugging him.

i walked out and saw soda and dal hugging. "DALLAS ARE YOU HUGGING SODA? I WANT A HUG" i yelled running over to hug him, he hugged back. "see what you did sodapop" he said annoyed. soda and i left laughing. we went to sodas so he could get his dx hat and shirt for work.
