soda
it's been 3 hours since we got to the hospital. they wouldn't let me or darry see her since we weren't family. i tried to say i was her husband but they didn't buy it. finally dally came out. he was crying real hard.

"she's dead isnt she" i said "she's ok" he whispered and i ran in the room."sir you can't be in her-" and emma cut her off and said. "no i want him here please" she said and i ran over and hugged her so tight. "soda my ribs are broken" she said "oops i'm sorry princess i didn't" and she again cut me off. she loved cutting people off.

"it's okay soda" she said and kissed my cheek. "lay with me" she said and i held her close. "should've been me" i whispered. "SODAPOP PATRICK CURTIS" emma yelled causing the doctor to run in. "NEVER SAY THAT AGAIN IF IT'D BEEN YOU I WOULD'VE NEVER FORGIVEN MYSELF" she yelled and the doctor just silently left.

i just kissed her head and apologized. then amber ran in. "emma i'm so so so so so sorry" she kept repeating hugging her. "amber it's fine" she kept saying. "no it's my fault you left in the first place it's all my fault" amber said and they just argued about how it wasn't her fault. we all talked for a while until the doctor tried to make us leave.

dally

"no way man we aren't leaving that's my twin right there" i said. "i'm sorry visiting hours are over unless you are the parent" she said. "yeah well our parents our dead. we're her family now" i yelled.

"sir you can't stay the night" she said.
"OH COME ON MAN that's the love of my life in there and you'll have to kill me to make me leave" soda yelled at her. "first of all can all of you stop calling me man i'm a woman. second fine but if i get in trouble for this than you better take the blame" she said and we all went back to emma's room.

they all came back and i asked "did you threaten her or what?" "nah man soda said they'd have to kill him to make him leave" dally said. "sodie you're a dork" i laughed. "yea yea whatever" he laughed and laid next to me. "darrel take pony home please he's got school" i said. "alright but he ain't gonna be happy when he wakes up tomorrow" darry said picking him up and walking out. "cya tomorrow" he yelled.
"bye" we all said.

we talked for awhile til emma fell asleep and we all decided to go to sleep.
3 days later

i woke up feeling a kiss on my cheek.
"morning pepsi" emma said and kissed my nose.
"morning princess" i kissed her head and got up.
"where's dal and hazel?" i asked. "went home to get me clean clothes. i'm getting discharged later today" she said"oh good! i'm glad" i smiled and went in the bathroom.

12:00pm

"YES I GET TO LEAVE THIS HELL HOLE" emma yelled while amber signed the papers and we all ran out. i picked up emma and spun her around and kissed her while i set her down. "i love you pepsi-cola" she whispered in my ear"i love you more princess" i said hugging her and we drove home.

at the curtis's

"hey i know we just got home but i've gotta go...do something i'll be back later" i said and walked out. i couldn't let them know that i actually care about someone other than johnny and my sisters.

"okay that was weird? what's going on with him?" i asked "he's been doing that all week when he wasn't at the hospital" soda said "why?" i asked. "dunno probably a girl or somethin" johnny said "ooo i gotta crack the case" i said laughing "more like lay down and rest" amber said. "yea whatever" i laughed and laid down
