Jimin was right.

Taehyung was mad he missed the first time his nephew kicked.

But, he stopped pouting pretty quickly because around dinner time, the baby started kicking again, and not only that, punching as well. Jimin was starting to be able to tell the differences between the two, which was fascinating to him.

The next day, they were supposed to be checking out and heading to their next destination, so the boys were all busy with packing and making sure they had everything in order to load in the vans.

Something had shifted between Yoongi and Jimin since they experienced the baby's first kick together. Every move the younger boy made, the older was two steps behind him.

It was endearing how protective he was, but at the same time, Jimin felt like it was bordering on suffocating.

Not to mention, Jin was refusing to be anywhere near Yoongi, and would just watch from a distance, glaring, anytime the parents interacted.

After a particularly close interaction where Yoongi helped lift something and Jimin smiled in gratitude, Jin had huffed before stomping out of the room, Namjoon giving the boy an apologetic look before following his boyfriend.

Jimin looked at Taehyung for answers, but the boy shrugged, just as clueless as the next person.

The next morning, they were off, packed in multiple vans, getting comfortable for the four hour drive ahead.

Again, Jin was being difficult and wouldn't sit in the same van as Yoongi. The man was forced to move to another car because Jin refused to leave his brother's side, practically pitching a fit. Jimin wasn't even sure why Jin couldn't just let Yoongi stay, as he wasn't even talking to anyone anyway. He chose to brood and stare out the window for the majority of the trip, only talking to ask Jimin how he was doing.

The drive was only about four hours but stretched to around five and a half with all the stops they were taking.

Jimin felt bad, having to use the bathroom so often and stretch his legs, but the others tried to reassure him that they had no problem with it, and his health was imperative.

They reached their hotel in the late afternoon, the set-up pretty much like the last one.

Taehyung had opted to stay in the hotel room with Jungkook, so Jin and Jimin were in the suite and the two cousins decided to room together instead of making the company pay for an extra room.

Jimin was about to go see if Taehyung wanted to watch a movie with him when he came across Yoongi in the hallway, talking on his phone. The pink haired boy scurried around a wall, turning red with the realization that he was full-on eavesdropping on the man's conversation.

"-yeah, no I get it, believe me. We may not have choreographed dance numbers, but I'm still getting winded jumping around and hyping up the audience." Jimin felt his heart flutter when Yoongi's laugh sounded through the hall. "I promise it'll be great. Yes, of course, I miss you Surie! Sorry, I haven't had much contact, I'm sure you're in a similar boat anyways, but hey, you should stop by once you're finished. I checked the schedule, we'll be in the same province around the end of this leg. Just a few hours away."

The fluttering in Jimin's chest changed, and now it was like the air had been sucked out of his lungs.

Surie.

Suran.

Of course, he was talking to her.

Jimin wanted to move, but he couldn't, so he tried not to make a sound. His fists clenched tight, and he closed his eyes, willing the tears not to fall.
