The week of Hoseok's death was hard for everyone, but they survived.

It was like they'd all come to some kind of unspoken agreement to just being there for one another. Sometimes they'd find each other sitting in silence in the living room, in need of comfort or even giving each other space when they needed to be alone.

For a long time, whenever they laughed or let loose, they felt like they were betraying his memory.

It was stupid because Hoseok loved to have fun. He was the embodiment of the sun and lit up a room in every way.

With his contagious laugh and bright smile, everyone he touched, walked away a little happier.

But the guilt still lingered.

Eventually, they managed to get back into their routine of laughing and lounging on the beach, singing songs, and having movie nights.

But the day that changed everything for Jimin and Yoongi was the day they were left alone in the house.

-

Jin wasn't too happy about leaving the two and had a few words with Yoongi before ultimately hugging Jimin and letting Namjoon pull him out the door. Taehyung soon followed, wiggling his eyebrows before dragging Jungkook with him.

For a few seconds, it was completely silent, the couple staring at one another, before they burst out in laughter, giggling, and smiling.

Completely attuned to each other, the awkwardness didn't phase them.

"I never thought I'd see the day when my brother willingly left me home alone with a boyfriend."

"He left you alone with your other boyfriends?"

Yoongi and Jimin already had the awkward ex-talk, Jimin never realizing he would be possessive. But the look on Yoongi's face told Jimin that he wasn't alone in that respect.

"Yeah, he left me alone once with Wonho. But I guess Jin threatened him because he refused to touch me other than my hand the entire time. I was a little annoyed then, but I know Jin was just being protective."

"He told me a lot about what you guys went through before we became a band. Sometimes he thinks of you more as a son than a brother."

"I'm sure. I think of him as my best friend, brother, protector, and sometimes even parental figure. But whenever he tried to boss me around, I would always fight him."

Yoongi laughed, pulling Jimin close to him. His arms hugged Jimin's waist, the younger boy's hands making their way around Yoongi's neck.

"I can just picture it. You as an adorable little boy, with big eyes and a pout telling him you weren't going to take a nap and Jin not being able to do shit about it."

Jimin giggled because it was true. He must've been a little demon to look after, but Jin never backed down from the job or complained.

Now, Jimin was able to appreciate all the sacrifices his older brother made for him. He'd never seen a closer pair of siblings than them.

The notion that they were alone wasn't lost to the couple. Jimin could see the darkened gaze of desire in Yoongi's eyes and knew it mirrored his own.

To be honest, if this wasn't Yoongi, Jimin might've distracted them.

Jimin was a virgin and not ashamed.

He didn't understand why people were always so embarrassed by the fact. He was simply waiting for someone who'd make his first time special.
