August rolled around quickly, the boys continuing to make new memories every day.
At one point, the two youngest had a singing competition to one of the band's songs, and Taehyung beat Jungkook, obviously bruising his ego.
For his punishment, Jungkook had to screw with Dispatch.
He'd spent a week basically toying with them into thinking he was holed up with a secret girlfriend (probably a k-pop idol or model) when it turned out to just be one of the members wearing a wig. He'd even hinted to fans that he'd gotten a fresh new pair of wheels, and Dispatch had crowded the beach waiting for him to step out in a new car with his new girl.
He'd gone to the grocery store on a tricycle, with Jin sitting on the back.
It was all over the internet, for some reason even making headlines in America, and every time it came up, Jimin couldn't stop laughing.
Something that few expected happened between Namjoon and Jin, the younger finally having the courage to ask the older out.
Apparently, they'd had a moment at Lotte World during the time they'd supposedly ditched all the "lovey-dovey couples cliche" shit they were spewing at the others, and realized their feelings for each other.
It was adorable, seeing Namjoon's normally calm self stammer out that he liked Jin, the older just looking disappointed like he'd expected a better confession.
And lastly, the three big words that came out of Yoongi's mouth.
The same words that would've had Jimin running for the hills if he'd heard it come from anyone other than Yoongi.
Jimin brought Yoongi up to the roof a few days before his birthday. The others knew about it, but also knew that it was kind of his and Jin's special place.
It was around one in the morning, neither ready to sleep just yet. The weather was perfect, calm, and silent, only the crashing of the waves in the distance. They were on the ledge, curled together, sharing a blanket and looking up at the starry night sky.
Tangled in each other's warm embrace, watching in silence as a sudden bright streak shot across the sky, a small gasp left Jimin's lips as he looked to see if Yoongi had seen it as well.
The older was staring back, a large smile on his face.
He leaned forward, burying his nose into the younger's neck, kissing the side.
"I don't want to go back to Uni," Jimin whispered truthfully.
It was easier to confess that when he wasn't looking directly at Yoongi.
"I don't want you to go back either," the blonde whispered in response.
He sighed, before shifting to look Jimin in the eyes.
"I never...it's no secret that I've dated other guys and girls...felt for them, or maybe fallen for them...but you...you're special." Yoongi shook his head slightly, "I've fallen for you so fucking hard and so fucking fast it scares me. And now, you're going back to school, and I'll be in Seoul or Daegu... I knew when I first kissed you I'd only have three months, and I thought we would both walk away okay, but now...now I don't think I'll walk away in one piece."
It was an unscripted, rocky confession, but it was enough to make Jimin's heart completely melt.
He turned in Yoongi's hold, draping his own arm over his shoulders. Yoongi's eyes, almost luminescent in the dim light, seemed to see right through Jimin. His hands pressed harder into the younger's back in an effort to hold him closer.
