"you're not wearing make up either right?" i say
"nope just mascara" she says smiling
"how are you and alejandro" i ask
"we're fine" is all she says
"just fine?" i ask
"he has this new friend vic i guess" she tells me "i don't have a problem with it but they used to date"
"vic? they're friends and you're just now hearing about her?" i ask
"exactly what i said" she tells me "but he's been hanging out with her more than he has with me and i don't wanna be that girlfriend but he was once in love with her i guess. i don't know how to feel about it"
"you have every right to feel how you want to feel" i comfort her "how bout we do this"
"you go to the party with one of your ex's" i tell her
"they all moved away" she says disappointed
"dude have you forgotten you dated my brother"
yup. angel and ava dated before. it was her longest relationship. up until he broke up with her because our dad got sick. she was heart broken but she got over it and now she's with alejandro. which is how i met kairi. i never knew kairi and mattia was his friend and i literally grew up with alejandro so it was a shocker.
"omg you're right!" she says "and he finds angel the most intimidating since he's my first love"
"since he's going with vic, you're gonna walk in with angel's arm wrapped around you and your arm will be wrapped around him but lower you know?" i explain to her
"show me" she says
uhh fuck i see someone walk pass my door
"mattia" i call "mattia come"
he walks back "what now"
"come i wanna show ava something" i tell him
he walks in and i stand up and show her how her and angel will be
"okay" i say standing next to mattia
i grab his arm and put it around my neck and hold his hand. next i put my other arm around him but it's behind his back.
"yup it's true we're dating" mattia says
"no we're not idiot" i tell her "but this is how you'll walk in with him"
"with ale?" mattia asks
"nope" she answers
"oh" he answers back
it was quiet for a second. i'm still in this position with mattia
"can i go now" he asks
"oh yea sure sorry i forgot" i say
he walks out and i lay back down with ava
"you hesitated" she says
"what"
"omg you hesitated" she says laughing
"i did not shut up" i lie
"you didn't want him to go" she says
"shut up and go to sleep" i say
"don't dream of mattia" she says
