it's the day after the party and i'm the only one up. they got really wasted last night, ava basically stripped but i stopped her before she could go any further, mattia had his tongue down many girls, kairi and alejandro kept making "that's what she said" jokes to guys who have girlfriends and almost got their asses kicked.
i laid out some pain killers, water bottles and some food for them when they wake up. i start to clean around the house. you'd be surprise by how much money you'll find on the floor. after what felt like hours i finally get done cleaning.
"i hate parties" i say
"ow fuck so do i" ava says coming into the kitchen looking very dead
"are these for us" she says
i nod
"omg thank you" she says dramatically "my head is fucking killing me"
"you drank a lot" i say "more than the boys. combined."
she takes the pill and chugs it down with water.
the kitchen door opens revealing the boys
"damn you all look like shit" i say "there's aspirin and stuff on the table for you guys"
"mhm thanks" is all they can say
"well i'll be back" i say "vinnie wants me to meet his parents"
"already? it's been a like 4 weeks" ava says
"i know but he says this is the only chance i get really meet them since they travel a lot for work"
"hm makes sense. have fun" ava says
"good luck" the boys say
i smile and head out and drive to vinnie's house.
i knock on his door and he opens it
"hey baby" he says kissing me
i kiss back "hey babe"
he invites me in and takes me to the dinner table
"aw you must be y/n" the mom says coming up to hug me "i'm maria"
"hiiii it's so nice to meet you" i say smiling whole hugging her
"vinnie told us so much about you" she says "he never included how beautiful you are"
i giggle "thank you very much"
"i'm nate, vinnie's dad" he introduces himself
"hello" i say smiling waving at him
"okay mom we're gonna go upstairs just in case you continue to embarrass me" vinnie says grabbing my hand and taking me up to his room
"hm typical boy room" i say jumping on his bed
he laughs
"you wanna watch a movie?" he asks
"nah i'll watch you play tho" i tell him
"wait really?" he says
"yea"
"like you'll watch me play? and you won't get mad?"
i laugh "i don't see the problem"
he smiles brightly and picks me up, kissing me
"i love you" he blurts out
i freeze. he just dropped the L bomb on me. and it's been 4 weeks. 4 weeks
he laughs nervously
"sorry i didn't mean to say that" he says "please don't be scared"
i laugh
"uh no it's fine" i say smiling "so what game do you play?"
blah blah blah. he hops on the game and i watch him play a few rounds until my phone kept going off.
"you're famous" vinnie says laughing
"nah it's just mattia" i say "he does that when he's bored"
"ah mattia" he says
once again my phone goes off
i answer it
"yes mattia" i say
"i'm bored" he tells me
i called it
"what the fuck that gotta do with me" i say
"are you almost home" he asks
"no sir i'm still at vinnie's"
"why? you're not getting any dick isn't it boring" he asks
"okay goodbye mattia yup i love you too man" i say hanging the phone up
"what did he want" vinnie asks me
"nothing he was bored" i say laughing
"have you and mattia ever been a thing?"
i immediately deny it
"ew no gross" i say "i grew up with him and ava"
"have you ever had feelings for him?" he asks

"he seems to like you" he says
"but he doesn't he's just a friend"
"that's what they all say" vinnie says getting up from his chair
"you think i have something going on with mattia?" i say offended
"you guys practically live together and mattia sleeps around with anyone who's dumb enough to sleep with him"
"so you think i'm dumb?"
"that's not what i'm saying. i'm saying i'm not comfortable with you being friends with him" he tells me "he's not just a friend"
"vinnie i grew up with mattia since we were little we're seniors now" i say "i can't just drop someone who's been with me for that long"
"i don't see why not"
"because despite all the things he's done he was there way before you" i say "and for you to even think i have something going on with him makes me feel like you don't trust me around my friends"
"i trust you with your friends i just don't trust you with mattia"
"because you think i'm dumb enough to sleep with him."
he stays quiet
"exactly what i thought" i say putting my shoes back on
"y/n wait i didn't mean it like that"
i run downstairs and say my goodbyes to his parents. god i can't believe he even thought of that.
"i don't trust you with mattia" i mock "oh shut the fuck up"
i get into the house and slam the door
"god i hate boys" i yell as i'm heading to my room
ava's pov
"damn what's wrong with her" kairi asks
"i think meeting the parents went bad" alejandro says
"i don't think it's that" i say "she came in mad yelling she hates boys. i think she got into an argument with vinnie"
"go check" mattia tells me
"what no she's mad as fuck right now i'm gonna let her calm down for a bit" i say "she likes to grab things hard when she's mad"
"that's what she said" alejandro says making the boys laugh
