"who's the girl the boys are taking to" i ask ava

"you don't think i've thought about that?" he says getting up as well "ever since we gotten together i've been second guessing weather i should leave here or not"

"i think about what's gonna happen if i do move out there. i think if you're gonna forget about me and go date some knock off version of me" he says

"i think about you. my sister. my friends. i think about how i won't be able to wake up with you in my arms. i think about how we can't have arguments that end up with me kissing you. i think about how i'm gonna miss you pushing your hair back when you're frustrated" he says "i'm gonna miss all of that"

"so why can't you stay" i say "if not for me at least for your sister"

he sighs

"it's not that easy" he says

i lick my lips and look down crossing my arms

"i don't want you to leave and forget about your life you had down here" i say
