Chapter Forty-Seven

The following day...

I was at the gym watching my team look sluggish and tired. "What the hell happened to all of you..." I asked

"Videogames"

"Assignments"

"Studies"

"Reading"

"Late practice"

Clearing my head by jogging at night"

"Habbubadalumba..."

I looked at Hinata who practically did not make sense with his response. "...O..kay?" I replied as I sighed deeply once more. 

"They practically stayed up all night about something.." Kiyoko said.

"You weren't with them?" I asked as she shook her head.

"We have a game-" Kiyoko began before Elycia came in the gym crying.

"June what are-" I began as she hugged me crying. "O-OI!!" I exclaimed.

"Sumimasen!!" Yachi said as she came inside the gym after, "she came running out of her classroom like this!"

I blinked as she pulled herself together... at least tried to. "J-July I read it!!!" She wailed a bit and continued crying.

"read it? Read what?" I asked, completely confused.

"What else!? How could such a lovely fandom couple be treated with outmost sadness!! Boks!! In Another Liiiiiffffeeee!! He will make you staaayyy!!" 

I cannot believe she actually read that story... " ...Okay, I'm taking your phone privileges from here on out." I said as I took her phone, still busy crying and curled on the floor. 

"He didn't deserve it!! Uwwaaaaahh!! Elly is a sad bitch nooowww!!" Elycia exclaimed.

"See? See? What did we learn? What did you learn?" I practically banned Elycia from reading any sad stories in my house because sadness affects me. Especially that story. "God, you are hopeless sometimes..."

"If-If I hear Bokuto and A-Akashi say those line here, I-I'm going to breeeaaakkk!!"

"Geez, as if they'll say that to each other here.." I mumbled a bit.

"what is...happening?" Daichi asked completely and fully awake now and confused, the same goes for the others.

"Something about Bokuto and Akaashi?" Tanaka shrugged.

After some time of calming Elycia down from her breakdown, we all agreed to not mention Bokuto and Akaashi to her in anyway... that means we called F/n for backup to prevent Bokuto and Akaashi from seeing our game today... and Boy was he not happy about doing that job when we told him.

We got back to Sendai for our next match as I was doing some stretches with Yams and Tsukki. I still call him Villager C, but our argument in nicknames for him became quite often. 

"Admit it, Tsukki is easier to remember," Tsukishima said trying to change his nickname.

"Nah, Villager C is easier to remember," I replied as I stretched forward to touch my shoes as Yams presses on my back to help.

Yams didn't know how to interrupt since the two of us seemed serious as a vein was popping on our foreheads as we had a plastered smile on our faces.

Man... They can be both scary in a way... Yams thought to himself. The whistle blows as it caught our attention, giving us time to jog back in line as I looked over to Elycia, who had forgotten the sad story shit incident and was now focused on the game, worrying about the specific event that was bound to happen.

"Ah yes... Deadchi is born.." I said outloud as everyone looked at me with the same confused expression. ".....Ignore me." I added as I cleared my throat.

The game soon starts as we all got into our positions, I was serving this time..... when suddenly I felt constipated... and I don't know why, but when you get this chilling feeling, its always the feeling of constipation... if the feeling in your gut is very heavy.

I did a normal serve, and got into my stance afterwards as everyone was in their zones. The team was strong, but I didn't really want to waste my energy on them. I was still contemplating whether to let Daichi die on court or not... 

What a horrible fate that I wanted for Christmas...

The game continued as I did nothing but do receives, though they were given to me on purpose by the opposing team. Seems they picked up on my trying to save my energy... maybe I should switch out with Tanaka... but I don't want to yell it out or they'll pick it up as well and change strategies... either way, I forgot that these guys were good..

We managed to get  few quick kills with Hinata and Kageyama's duo attack, while mine and Hinata's were still sloppy... a low slide crouch toss was something difficult for me to do to get it all the way up enough for Hinata to hit. It's not perfect, but he got to hit it once or twice already.  

Though crouch sliding took a lot of energy out of me... and yes... I am still wearing the thigh socks.. but I grew accustom to them and so did the others.. ANYWAYS!!

"Hinata!!" I said doing another crouch slide toss from the bottom and up.

Hinata had jumped above me as I slide pass him and tossed for him, hitting the ball and making a score. That was the third successful toss we had. 

"epic!!! Do it again Sunshine!!" Hinata practically was jumping as I was shaking my head a bit as I stood up catching my breath.

"I'm not even putting my all in it and I'm exhausted.." I replied as I looked at the scoreboard to keep track of the events. That on pink Waka sure is something.. he has one one blocker on Hinata and another on me... yet... 

The ball was sent flying over pass me as I ran over and dived, saving the ball and sending it flying in the air, as I rolled on the ground hitting one of the walls with my back and getting back up. "It's up!!" I called out as I ran back in the court, trying to keep an eye on the ball and the scoreboard at the same time.

I was slowly beginning to get pulled into the game, completely forgetting that there was an event I should be aware of.... what was it again..?

"One touch!!" Tsukishima yelled.

"Look out another wipe!!" I called out as Daichi went after the ball saving it barely and Noya followed after. We were practically on fire today. I dived down to save the ball and try to get it over the net.

"Y/N LOOK OUT!!!" Elycia yelled as I looked over to her, but noticed Daichi the instant I looked.

I couldn't really recall, but I did remember I felt as though I was hit by a bowling ball square to the chest that sent me rolling and sliding across to the other side of the court, out cold.
