Chapter Twenty-Nine

Two days after...

BAM!!

The volleyball hits the gym floor as it rebounds back up in the air and landed on the balcony above.

"Did you see that Y/n? Tell me, that was amazing or what?" Kourai said proudly to himself as Hirugami was giving a small clap. 

"Bravo Kourai," Hirugami said as Kourai even felt more proud.

"Oh that poor volleyball..." I replied, "The volleyballs here seemed to be abused more than normal"

"Were you even paying attention to my spike?!" Kourai exclaimed dramatically

"Hm? Oh sorry, I guess I wasn't." I said as I looked at Kourai and blinked.

"Do you even know why seagulls fly over sea?" Tsukishima said purposely outloud as he was walking with Yams pass the three of us to the bench. "Because if they fly over the bay, they'd be bagels."

"HHHUUUUUUHHH WAS THAT AN INDIRECT INSULT YOU LANKY ASS SALTSHAKER??!!!" Kourai said, clearly falling for one of Tsukishima's daily taunting insults. 

"Not gonna lie though, your taunts and jokes are getting way much better and funnier Villager C." I said as I picked up my water bottle and jogged over to the two of them, while Hirugami stood them with the same plastered smile, holding back an angel seagull.

"Y/n-chhaaann!!" I heard Oikawa call as I turned my head to look at him from the other court he was in and noticed his hard serve, which sends the ball flying to his teammate on the other side of the net.

"ASSYKAWA!!!"Iwaizumi exclaimed, "YOU COULD HAVE KILLED MATSUN DUMBASS!!"

"Oopsie!" He said holding up a peace sign, putting on his, what I call, cute mode.

"Uh, Nice serve Kawa-kun" I said giving him a thumbs up.

Though my attention was on Oikawa as was boasting to me of how great he was and such, Yamaguchi and Tsukishima were both glaring at him, but their attention changed when Akaashi came up to the both of us.

"Y/n-chan, do you have time?" Akaashi asked as I turned to face him. "Bokuto-san can't stop asking me to ask you if you want to join our session practice later tonight..."

"Why can't he ask me himself?" I replied.

"He gets nervous around to the point he even lost direction on where the bathroom is."

"That's... That's embarrassing..." I said with a deadpan while Tsukishima and Yamaguchi snickered to themselves.

"Y/n-chaaaaannn!!!!" Hinata yelled as he ran up to me and jumped in my arms, almost making me lose my balance. "Lets do it!!! Lets do it!!! You were so cool and amazing the other night too!!!"

The gym room fell silent right after he said that.

Tsukishima was drinking his water when he said this and just ended up spitting it out and adjusting his glasses. "do WHAT?! What exactly?!"

"I'd... like to know too.." Akaashi said blinking rapidly. "Hinata, blink three times if you need help.."

Hinata only blinked once or twice. 

"...Y'all need Jesus," Elycia called out as I nodded my head in agreement. "Cleanse that unholy minds of yours!" 

"...Anyway!! Lets do our quick attack special thingy!!!" 

"quick attack special... thingy?" I repeated.

"The that goes WA-BAM!! WHOOSH!! HABLOOSHKIE!!!" Hinata said getting off me and on the floor. "Pretty please!!"
