Chapter Seventy

"MAMMON NEEDS THE LOVE AND SUPPORT SO DON'T TELL ME TO FUCKING CALM DOWN BITCH." Elycia exclaimed as I sat in the middle of hers and F/n's conversation about Obey Me. I'm not too familiar with that game, but I heard it's about demons or something... I slurped my mango juice as Elly went on. "The FUCKING audacity." She added with a hissing tone, making it obvious she was triggered.

I just said Mammon was stupid to not think before he acts..." F/n said.

It's been a few days since our tournament, and my friends and I were heading out, before going to school tomorrow. I had to tell the others I can't spend time with them for a while, since I just want to be with F/n and Elly today. 

I still can't believe we made it... I mean, that is to be expected, but not like this. I smiled happily to myself.

"Plus, Mammon reminds me of Tanaka," F/n said as he was on his phone, texting away.

"I-!" Elycia began before crossing her arms a bit. "Mmmmm... you're not wrong.." She said before looking at me, "Also, did you get the Gnosis and Primos I bought you in Genshin?"

"Dang, you don't need to rub your rich ass money in my face, gurl," I teased, "I know you richy rich."

"Pfft," F/n chuckled to himself.

"Hey! You two laughing at me? hmph!" Elycia pouts and scoffs. "Whatever! Just for that, you guys are carrying the shopping bags!"

"Gomen, gomen," I replied, "I was only teasing, I didn't laugh at all, promise. But F/n did that's for sure."

"What? No, I didn't." F/n said looking up from his phone.

"Yes you did," Elycia rolled her eyes at him. "You said, pfft pfft."

"Okay, now you're exaggerating on what I said," F/n shook his head, "and even if I did laugh, it wouldn't be towards what you two were talking about."

"Huh?" Elly and I said at the same time. 

F/n showed us his texts. 

Apparently, he was laughing... at a text message joke from some named Alisa.

"Alisa? Alisa Haiba?!" Elly exclaimed, "Wait- WHEN DID YOU GET HER PHONE NUMBER?!"

"Since the tournament against Shiratorizawa," F/n replied with a shrug and continued texting as I whistled.

"Smooth man," I replied as we gave each other a fistbump.

"HOW ARE YOU SO CALM ABOUT THIS! F/N IS DATING THE FUTURE MODEL, ALISA HAIBA!!" Elly yelled out which caused F/n's face to turn red a bit

"Yare yare daze..." F/n sighed and sped up his walking away from us. "I'm leaving you two behind!" 

"Wait- WHAT THE FUCK DID I DO?!" I exclaimed as I and Elycia ran to catch up to F/n...

Haiba Household...

"Boop," Alisa said as she booped her snow-white kitten she had recently taken in on one rainy day. She soon received a notification on her phone as she picked up the kitten and then her phone before heading over to the couch and sat down with the kitten on her lap. "See? Even F/n adores you," She said to the cat that was comfortable on her lap and decided to take a nap. "f/n... hmmm... that's a lovely name for you!"

"F/n?" A voice said from behind her as she turned to look at Lev who was curiously peeking in the living room. "Who's that?"

"Ah, just a friend I met in the Tournament with your friends!" She replied happily.

"Really? that name, F/n, doesn't sound like any of your girlfriends I've seen or heard about." He replied scratching his head a bit. Even if he was younger than Alisa, he couldn't help but feel a bit overprotective. "It also kind of sounds like a boy's name."

"That's because he is a boy," She replied with the same cheery tone.

"Oh ok-" Lev paused for a moment, stood frozen by the doorway of the living room.

Alisa placed the cat down on the couch as she went to get some snacks in the kitchen. "Lev, if you have any plans heading out today, could you buy me some groceries so I can cook us dinner later?" Alisa called out from the kitchen, grabbing a pen and paper to write a list of groceries. "Lev?" She called again as she didn't get an answer from him... only to hear the scurrying sound of someone putting shoes on and the door opening and closing in a hurry. "Did he not need the list to know what to get...? Oh well, I'll just text it to him!"

Down the street, Lev was running faster than he runs in court with a cat-like killer look in his eyes. He didn't even realize he zoomed past Kuroo, who was out on a jog.

"Hey Lev, how's it go-" Kuro began before stepping to the side as he watched Lev ran past him without even stopping to say hello."...-ing?" Kuroo finished as he blinked, stood confused a bit. "what the hell was that about."

Meanwhile...

F/n was buying food in the food court while Elly and I were chatting away and on our phones. "I wonder what the tournament will be like in Tokyo..." I said with a small smile. "You think we'd be going up against Bokuto's team in the first round? Or maybe Kuroo's?"

I looked up to Elly, waiting for her answer.. though she seemed to not have paid close attention to what I had said as she had a serious expression, her full attention on her phone. 

"Yoo-hoo, earth to July," I called to her snapping my fingers to get her attention.

"Huh? Oh! Sorry! I got caught up with watching cat videos again! Whoopsie!" She replied as I shook my head.

"Nevermind I guess," I replied.

"Whhhyyy! Elly is serious though!" She exclaimed before we turned our heads once we saw food on our table. "Finally! I'm starving!"

"Woah, you paid for all these?" I asked raising a brow, "Seems uh.. seems quite a lot. What's the special occasion huh?" 

F/n chuckles a bit. "Let's see... what is the special occasion.." He replied as he checked his phone. While he was doing that and Elycia already digging in on her own food, I tilted my head a bit to the side to look past F/n to see a male with white hair running in our direction. 

"Wait a fucking minute is... is that Lev?" I said squinting my eyes a bit. In a matter of seconds, the male finally reached us and stopped right behind F/n with such a killer look in his eyes. 

Definitely Lev.

"Ah right, the special occasion," F/n hummed and looked behind him. "As expected. Care to join us, Lev?" He asked calmly with an eye smile. 

"This feels like a Lucifer and Satan showdown," Elycia whispered to me as she scooted to sit beside me as the atmosphere around us suddenly felt cold and awkward.
