AN I would have posted this earlier, but the power went out and my parents have a short limit on my data! Vote and comment!:)

Recap:
-Sam is stuck with a drunk Luke after he goes to a party with Janice and Josh
-His "girlfriend" Janice left them both and Sam is clueless of what to do
-Sam's dad Henry is out of town for the week

Sam's POV:

The next hour was spent of Luke burping in my face repeatably. It made things worse when he asked me to rate the scent of them.

It was like babysitting a 6 year old that got his hands on weed.

"Get me candy."
"No Luke lay down."
"If you don't get me candy I will kick you."
"Go ahead."
"Oh my g-gosh! Your sooo annoying!"
"I know, please just lay down."
"Can I make babies with penguins? Is that l-legal even?"
Then the uncontrollable giggling would come.

When I told Luke to sleep, he begged for me to cuddle, so I gave him my favorite teddy bear. Every time a drizzle of his spit ran down my bear's face, another part of my heart broke off.

Slowly Luke drifted off and was snoring, loudly.

He was sleeping and my mission was completed.

-----

The sun came out like a space ship's headlights. It was blinding for my dark-adjusted eyes. Next to me, Luke lay comfortably in the bed. It was a change from my position on the hard floor.

I turned on the television to softly play my favorite show. Luke shuffled in his sleep for awhile before opening his eyes.

"Good morning," he said in the most deep and croaky voice I have ever heard. To reply to him, I gave him one of my favorite side smiles.

"The only thing I remember from last night was you taking care of me, thanks."

----

When the sun rose in the sky, I tried to get Luke out of my house. When I gently pushed him out the door, Luke stood there like a tree, legs and all.

I little wave was all I could muster myself to do as Luke gave me a grateful smile. He went in for a hug, but my body went as limp as a wet noodle.

I tried to scurry my way back into the house as fast as I could, but a little ass had to come out.

"Bye baby," Janice squealed behind me, running towards him.

She planted a sloppy kiss on his cheek and gave a pouty face when he rejected her attempt for the lips.

As Luke walked off, his eyes just bore into mine. I knew that him and Janice were still dating, but it could be for pity as everyone else says. What the hell did that birdie tell Luke.

That's when everything in my mind finally made sense. Janice told Luke something. That was the reason they started dating. He doesn't like her!

This time I gave Luke a huge grin and his droopy eyes lit up.

----
Here I was, laying on my bed. It was 10:30 on a school day, everyone's dream right? Not mine.

I wanted to go to school, yet I couldn't seem to carry myself to the dresser to get some clothes on. Instead I was playing with a candle.

My little game was fun, trying to get my hand as close to the fire as possible without burning myself.

My lack of concentration in class has brought down my grade entirely. I went from an A student to a C student. I actually wish that I could whine how "My dad will have my throat," but he really doesn't care.
