AN I'm sorry it's been so long, I didn't die. but I just started school and I had this whole chapter written out,but then it was deleted!

Recap:

-Now Sam knows what really happened at the party (Luke and Janice DIDNT sleep together)

-Luke and Janice are still together, but Luke has become very protective of Sam

-Sam goes to see a movie with Calum, Ashton and Luke

-At the end of the movie, Sam takes the subway home and Luke joins her for safety issues

-Sam sits on the bus between Luke and a creepy man that has just touched her thigh

Sam's POV:

I shriek loudly causing Luke to turn my way and see the man. Before I know what's happening he is out of his chair and grabbing the man at the collarbone.

"Don't touch her," he says in a chilly voice that I don't recognize. He seems as almost of he's in a dark place. His eyes are darker and muscles have tensed up.

Suddenly Luke throws a punch at his face, causing the man to fall to the ground. When the man is up at his feet again he looks angry.

The man pulls out his fist and slams it into Luke's face before he could block. Out came both of Luke's fists and he punched the man's jawline multiple times. When the man was on the ground he gave him one more kick to the stomach, making him cough up blood.

Luke then turns around to face me and runs over. His eyes start to soften from their dark shade and his muscles relax. I don't have the power in me to stop Luke as he envelopes me in his arms. I don't hold back and just sob into his shirt, getting it wet on the surface.

I didn't realize that the bus has come to complete stop. Adults were carrying and pushing the children off of the bus as soon as possible. I see in the corner of my eyes the man starting to stand up. I've never felt so afraid in my life.

I pull back and look him in the eyes and say to him, "Luke, you need to run."

He turns around and follows my line of vision and says to me, "No we have to." With one kiss on the forehead, Luke throws me over his shoulder and bolts of the bus.

He just kept running and running until we ended up in the middle of nowhere. By now Luke is laughing, but I'm just scared, worried, and shaken. I just want to go home, wherever that is. I want to be held and told that it will be okay, I will be okay.

"Luke." I say breathily, "We need to stop." Those words were enough for the giggling Luke to halt in his tracks. He flips me off of his shoulder and into his arms. "I'm sorry" he says. "I am so sorry. I just get so violent and I can't control it."

"Why Luke? Why?"

He looked me in the eyes and whispered, "I can't tell you, but I will."

My mind ruins the moment by commented, What the fuck?

Just then Luke swears under his breath too. "What" I ask.

"Well for starters, we are in the middle of nowhere with no form of transportation." Luke replies.

Usually I would start freaking out or crying, but for some damn weird reason, I just laughed.

Luke turned to me and asked, "Are you high?" "What? No....its called drunk," I chimed before running ahead of Luke and pulling out my phone. He's lucky I have one on me because if I didn't, we'd be doomed.

We walked down the streets together content and calm for some buzzard reason. On house had a guitar infront with a Cardboard sign labeled, "FREE"

Luke picked it up and started to tune it. Before I could question him, he started strumming a sweet melody. Next came his voice. When I heard it, I almost felt myself close my eyes and fall over. He had a beautiful voice. We stayed like this for a while before my frond door came into view.

Luke walked me up to my door. We shared an awkward quiet seconds before departing from each other.

I rushed upstairs, hearing Henry's voice screaming behind me to stop.

"SAM! I SWEAR IF YOU DONT GET BACK DOWN HERE, IT WILL BE THE END!"

I lock the door behind me and rushed to the bathroom. I start to think about my father's warning. I know my father would never kill me, he just has anger issues.

But he has hit me, quite a lot too. On the cheek, stomach, and arm.

I remember how Janice, Josh, and I used to get along. Of course this was a long while ago, I think I was 8 years in age.

I would chase butterflies in the backyard with Janice and then later throw mud with Josh.

They stopped hanging out with me in middle school, when the bullying started. Soon enough, they became the bullies. They never hit me though.

It wasn't until my mom passed that Henry started to hit me and that's when I stopped calling him Dad. Along with that, my bullying got worse too.

Josh and Janice had picked up Henry's ways and started hitting me, but worse.

LUKES POV:

I don't know why I sang to Sam. I am usually more of a introvert when it comes to my passion for singing. She didn't even need to tell me she liked my voice. Because when her eyes lingered when closed, it was enough for me.

AN AGHHH ITS GETTING BORING! I'm sorry! I have a great idea building in my mind. I promise it will become more interesting.❤️❤️
