VEDA HAD JUST LEFT THE VOICE CHANNEL WITH PUNZ, DREAM, AND SAPNAP WHEN SHE RECEIVED A CALL FROM MICAH.Picking it up, she was met with a grinning face of her bestfriend.
"Hi!" Veda said, returning the smile.
"Guess what I just did?" Micah seemed happier than usual. Then again, they were never very upbeat; mostly just kept to reading books and keeping tabs on Veda and Kacey, like the parental friend of the trio.
"What'd you do?"
"I just watched the stream you were in!"
Veda gasped. "You watched Punz's stream?!"
"Yep. I heard you with him, and Dream, and Sapnap. You sounded so cool!" they complimented.
"Really? Thank you! It was just like having a normal conversation with my friends. Except a few thousand people are watching, that's all."
"Yeah, and what was up with you and Sapnap?"
"What?" Veda's head tilted. "What do you mean 'what was up?' We were normal."
"Really? So him commenting on you in a dress and you teasing about how he shouldn't cut his hair is normal?" Micah deadpanned.
"Jesus, you really watched the entire thing?" she replied. Thinking about what she had just been told, she realized that perhaps they should've kept more to themselves. But then again, that was how her and Sapnap always talked.
"Of course I did; I'm your friend. Now answer the question."
"That's how we always talk, we're just joking around. What's the big deal?"
Micah snorted, "What's the big deal? You know what the big deal is."
Veda went quiet, hopping up from her bed and propping the phone up while she walked into her closet to change.
"Are you gonna answer me or silently admit to crushing on him?" Micah hollered from the speaker.
"What? Hold on a second Micah, you are getting way in over your head—"
