SKIES STILL FOGGED WITH GREY CLOUDS, RELENTLESS RAIN DRONING ON IN THE BACKGROUND, VEDA AND SAPNAP WERE STUCK. After making the post about pancakes on Twitter, the safest route was to avoid any form of social media. So after almost an hour of deciding what to do, they figured they'd prepare for an epic movie night.

Target was the best option in terms of getting what they needed. When they got there, masks hiding their faces, they were laughing nonstop. All because Sapnap had nearly tripped and fell on the walk inside.

"I'm sorry for laughing, but that—" Veda caught her breath, stomach aching from how much she laughed.

"No, no. It was funny, there's no denying that," Sapnap forgave her, stopping his own endless fit of giggles as well.

Now, they didn't realize, but there something unique about their relationship. Both of them were oblivious to the factor, especially since they had just met. But on a broad spectrum, something was clear: they brought out the best in one another. Always had, and always will.

Every time they spoke to one another, there was this glimmer in their eyes; a sparkle only each other could draw near. Of course, they'd continuously poke fun at one another. Deep down, that was just their way of silently showing how much they cared for one another.

"Ok, what's first, milady?"

Veda hummed, looking around. "Well, what would a movie night be without popcorn?"

"You make a good point," he grabbed her hand, striding confidently towards the isle of choice, "now let's see if I can find my way around your Target."

Heat collected underneath Veda's mask from her reddening cheeks. Nevertheless, she went on by his side, feet tripping to keep up with the wild boy she followed. They got to the desired isle, and stopped abruptly.

"Jesus, took long enough. I was about to pass out flat on my face from how fast you were going." She caught her breath, only to see his face riddled with amusement.

"Well we're here now, aren't we? Now the only question is what brand of popcorn is the best."

Straight away Veda lurched for a certain brand, one she recognized as a childhood favorite, and that was that. Next they walked over to the candy isle (thank shit it was near, otherwise Veda would've been in for another rollercoaster of weaving through isles).
