PUTTING ON HER GAME FACE, VEDA MENTALLY PREPARED HERSELF TO MEET THE BELOVED FANS ON QUACKITY'S STREAM. It was more pressure than she could put into words, yet she felt ready for it. And with the natural conversation skills of the streamers, there's no way it would be awkward.

Along with Quackity, Karl and Sapnap were also in the voice channel. Quite the trio, to be honest. Her stomach was a roller coaster of nerves, and it only got worse when Quackity sent her the pm.

Inhale. Exhale. Her fingers burned, and thoughts ran recklessly around her head like race cars on a track. Even if they couldn't see her, she was wearing a shortened tank top and a pair of joggers, mascara highlighting her eyes that scanned the voice channel button nonstop. She had two monitors, one much older than the other.

On the newer one, Discord was ready and patiently waiting for her. The older PC had Quackity's stream playing, but the volume was down so the voice channel wouldn't overlap audio with it. Nearly sixty seconds passed, then another. It was time.

The oh-so-familiar sound effect rang out, showing she had joined the channel.

"EYYY! There she is!" Quackity's voice cheered, his figure crouching up and down on their sacred SMP.

"What's cooking good-lookin?" Sapnap purred, a cocky tone in his voice. Veda hoped it would be overlooked by fans.

"Oh my goodness graci-oni-ess! It's Veda guys! Oh em gee!" Karl screeched. His voice was just as playful as it was in the streams she had seen.

"HellooOOOOOO!!" she gradually got louder, getting close to the microphone as she said her first words on the stream.

"Geez, Veda, you're gonna pop my eardrums," Sapnap mumbled quietly, but just to get on her nerves.

"Oh, that is B.S. You are at least ten times louder than me. Have you heard yourself when you fail in parkour? You scream like you're getting murdered." She was quick to bite back, reciprocating the teasing tone he used on her.

"Wait, Veda watches Sapnap's streams confirmed? Stalker behavior, damn," Quackity remarked, making Karl gasp yet again.

"Yeah, sounds to me like fan behavior. Tsk, tsk." Sapnap's voice had gone from defensive to a very parental, judging tone.
