Life was going as usual for Taehyung. Work was great, person life was even better. He and Jungkook went to Busan the other day as it was Jungkook's mother's birthday. A small celebration and quality time spent with family.
Taehyung loved the relationship Jungkook have with his mother. They were more like best friends than a mother and son. As soon as they walked in to the house, Jungkook's mother dragged him to a sofa and both of them started to gossip and giggle like teenage girls.
Luckily, both Jungkook's father and Taehyung himself was used to this now so they just left the duo be.
Things were going smoothly in every aspect.. until it was not.
One morning, the CEO of Taehyung's company, Namjoon, sent out an email for everyone informing that there will be a small celebration in the evening today. A dinner will be followed and it was stated mandatory for everyone to attend.
Taehyung could see the confused looks of his team members. Some looked at him with a question but Taehyung could only shrug his shoulders. He didn't know what it was about too.

Jungkook's normal day took a complete turn when his boss, Jin, suddenly called a meeting with all his staff. He seemed excited but little nervous at the same time as he waited for everyone to gather around.
"Well, good morning to you all." Jin started with a nervous laugh.
"You all must be wondering why I suddenly called for this meeting. First thing is that you all are invited to a small celebration party in the evening today. The reason for the celebration.. well, you will know it there. Attendance is mandatory."
"I have few important announcements to make which I will be doing in the evening but for now, I just wanted to speak with you all. You will be having many questions later so I thought I'll clarify some things beforehand."
"First, it's a good news and even though the change will be difficult initially, everything will be ok. I have thought a lot about my decision and you can rest assured that I did what was best for you all. I care about each and every one of you guys and I will never let anything bad happen to you lot. I will not tarnish the trust and respect you guys have placed on me."
"Second, with the way things are about to fall, I don't think I'll be seeing you guys as often as I would like. But you can contact me anytime you want and I'll be sure to...uhhh.... drop in whenever I can."
Jungkook felt his mouth opening wide in surprise and was sure that rest of the people in the office would be having a similar expression. He was actually worried about his boss whom he considered to be a good friend. And Jin seemed to be noticing the slightly panicking faces of his staff too.
"Don't worry, guys. Everything is ok. Like I said, this is a good news. I'm sorry for being cryptic but it's just that I want it to be a surprise till today evening. But I wanted to speak with you guys before that, you know, just us." Jin gave a beautiful smile and everyone seemed to be relaxing a bit.
"Ok then, off you go.. I'll see you all in the evening, at 5.00pm in Jade Garden Hotel. Don't be late now, ok.."
With that Jin left and everyone huddled together in groups to discuss what the hell just happened. Jungkook could see some of his team members coming closer to him and he stopped them with a flick of his hand. After few seconds, Jungkook made a decision and walked towards Jin's office.
Jungkook knocked on the door and went in when he heard a reply. Jin was standing near his cupboard and looking at some documents.
"Boss?" Jungkook called in a tentative voice and Jin turned to glance at him before going back to his documents.
