Taehyung had everything planned when Jungkook came home that day. He had even left office little early to do so. He had prepared snacks and drinks, a soft blanket big enough to cover both of them and Jungkook's favourite movie - Iron Man.

Jungkook likes these movie dates very much and Taehyung plans to make the best one today. He will make his husband forget all about the disappointment he felt today with their anniversary trip being cancelled.

Taehyung's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the front door opening. He walked towards it and saw his husband coming in. Jungkook gave a radiant smile to the other who had his arms wide open in an invitation.

Jungkook kept his bag on the floor and slowly moved in to those welcoming arms. He rested his head on Taehyung's shoulder and took a deep breath, inhaling the calming scent of his husband. And as Jungkook exhaled, he felt all the worries that he had for the entire day leave his body.

This is where he belonged, in Taehyung's arms. This is his home.

They stayed like that for about a minute, just enjoying each other's company before Taehyung pulled back. He ran his hand softly over Jungkook's cheek as he looked at his husband with a loving gaze.

"Movie night?" Taehyung asked in a soft voice and Jungkook's eyes got immediately bigger with excitement.

Taehyung watched with an amused smile as Jungkook quickly got out of the embrace and head towards the bedroom, clearly to get wash up as soon as possible. His bag was still on the floor, forgotten by its owner due to his eagerness for the movie date.

Taehyung picked it up and placed it on the table before walking towards the living room to set up everything. Just as Taehyung finished his work, he heard a sound of waddling feet. Jungkook half walked half ran in to the living room and popped on to the sofa.

"What are we watching?" Jungkook asked in a happy voice, making Taehyung internally coo at him.

"Iron Man. And I got the commentary video for you too."

"Yay!!" Jungkook's said in a happy tone as he did a little dance move with his hands.

It's his favourite superhero and although he had seen the movie before, the commentary is gonna be something to look forward to.

He settled comfortably on the sofa, snuggled in to Taehyung's chest with the blanket covering them both. He happily munched on a pack of snacks prepared by Taehyung and was enjoying the movie for about half an hour. Taehyung of course didn't care about the movie much. His only aim was to make Jungkook happy.

After about half an hour, Taehyung got up from his seat to get the cool drinks from the fridge. Jungkook paused the movie and waited for Taehyung to come back. Taehyung wordlessly handed over Jungkook's smoothie to him and sat back on the sofa, ready to continue with the movie.

Jungkook however had a different idea. He didn't resume the play and just stared off in to the distance. Taehyung patiently waited as he could clearly see that Jungkook have something on his mind.

"Tae.."

"Hmm.."

"Before I could ask about the leave from Namjoon, he told me you'll be taking a leave and to overlook your team in your absence."

"Oh.."

They were silent for few seconds before Taehyung spoke up.

"I'm sorry Kookie.."

Jungkook looked at his husband with a soft gaze and moved closer to him. He tried to lean back in to Taehyung's chest and Taehyung turn sideways instinctively so that Jungkook would be comfortable.

"I'm sad that we won't be able to go on our trip, Tae. But in a way, I'm happy too." Jungkook mused in a soft voice, making Taehyung a little confused.

"Happy?"

"I didn't had to lie." Jungkook replied and Taehyung felt a little sting on his heart.

He hadn't actually realised how difficult it was for his husband. Jungkook really doesn't like to lie and here he was, uttering lie after lie because Taehyung made a decision to keep their relationship a secret.

"I'm sorry baby, it's my fault that you had to do it this way." Taehyung said in a remorseful voice and Jungkook immediately protested.

"Don't be ridiculous, Tae. It's not your fault. We decided this together."

"Do you think we should tell them? And take our chances? I'm tired of always having to tiptoe around my team."

"I hate it too. But I'm scared. What if Namjoon still ask me to leave?"

Taehyung was silent for few seconds as he pondered the question. Although he thinks that Namjoon might be little lenient considering that now he knows how much of an asset Jungkook is, Taehyung can't be sure at all.

"We can decide what we will do if he did that. But there's a chance that he might not."

"But I don't want to take a risk. I like working with you, Tae. I like having you close by all day long, even if we don't get to talk normally with each other. It makes me really happy. I don't want to lose that. And I don't want to lose my team too."

Jung turned around in Taehyung's hold to look at his husband's face. He gently stroked Taehyung's face before speaking up again.

"Yes, I'm so sad about the trip. I've been looking forward to that a lot. But if the alternative is being with you for the whole year.. I think I'd prefer that."

And that was the deciding factor for Taehyung, it always had been. What matters to Taehyung most in the world is his baby's happiness. So if Jungkook says he wants something or he likes something, Taehyung can never disregard it.

Taehyung just gave a soft kiss to Jungkook's forehead before turning him and and resumed the movie. They watched the rest of the movie and the commentary video without any talking, just enjoying each other's company and food.

When it was finished, they both cleaned the table and the cups before going to bed. They did their night routine and got on to bed. Taehyung actually thought that Jungkook must be tired so he settled to sleep quietly but Jungkook had a different idea altogether.

As soon as Taehyung switched off the bed side lamp, he heard some rustling in the sheets and the next thing he knew, Jungkook was straddling his hips. Taehyung's hands flew to Jungkook's slim waist and gave it a not so gentle squeeze and Jungkook gasped in response.

Taehyung swiftly turned them over so that Jungkook was laying on the bed on his back and he was hovering over him. He bent and started to kiss Jungkook's neck, jaw and collarbone and Jungkook arched his head to the side to give his husband maximum space to work on.

"I thought you were tired." Taehyung whispered in to Jungkook's ear and Jungkook chuckled lightly before answering.

"I wasn't."

Taehyung hummed in acknowledgment and started to kiss his husband again. Their clothes were thrown off and soon, the sounds of skin slapping and moaning, with occasional calls of endearing names with sweet praises filled the room.

And by the time Taehyung was done and they finally fell asleep, Jungkook was so damn tired.
