28 - Best Anniversary Ever.

It is the day before Taehyung's and Jungkook's wedding anniversary. Taehyung had already informed Namjoon that he will not be taking leave for a week but only for that day. And Jungkook could simply call in to take a leave and since it's only for a day, he doesn't even have to inform it to Namjoon.

Yoongi and Jimin are more than capable of handling the work for a day. Hell they have been managing work for a week in the past two years when the two team leaders went on vacation.

Taehyung had planned a busy day to celebrate the anniversary. He knows they can't make it up for missing their trip but he'll give it his best try to make Jungkook and himself happy on their anniversary.

The day started with Jungkook making a big breakfast for them, filled with Taehyung's and Jungkook's favourite dishes. He woke up Taehyung with his tea and also had a small make out session before breakfast.

They didn't want to go all the way since they had planned to be outside whole day and it will be rather uncomfortable if Jungkook can't walk properly.

First, they went to the aquarium as it is one of Jungkook's favourite places. Taehyung could never get tired of how Jungkook's eyes lits up like a small child when he looks at all the fish.

"Tae!! Tae!! Did you see that dolphin!?" Jungkook exclaimed loudly with his beautiful doe eyes wide open in surprise.

Taehyung suppressed a chuckle at this adorable behaviour. He could see the people around them all looking at his husband, some looked amused while some others gave a rather disapproving look. It's not everyday that you see a man in his twenties, well built, have his face pressed to the glass in the aquarium with a huge grin.

But Taehyung didn't mind it at all. His heart soared in happiness just by looking at Jungkook's excited smile.

"I sure did baby." Taehyung answered in a soft voice as he walked closer and placed his hand over Jungkook's back.

Jungkook looked sideways and gave a soft smile as a respond to that touch but immediately reverted his attention back to the dolphin.

"They are beautiful, right?" Jungkook's voice sounded like an awed kid. "I miss going for the dolphin watching tour in Jeju island."

"I'll definitely take you for that soon. Maybe we could take one day off and merge it with the weekend."

Jungkook tore his gaze away from the dolphin tank to give his husband a huge smile.

"Let's do that." Jungkook said in an enthusiastic tone and Taehyung gave a nod.

"Ok."

They spent few more minutes at the dolphin tank and the next stop was at the penguins. Taehyung specially likes penguins and Jungkook actually made a show of walking around with his hands at his sides, just for Taehyung's entertainment.

It took few hours to finish the your in the aquarium, mostly because Jungkook kept stopping to coo at various fish.

They had a small lunch, since both still full from the big breakfast and they anyway had a dinner reservation too.

After lunch, they had a relaxing afternoon in the park. They had brought a blanket, few snacks and two books. It proved to be the best way to enjoy the day and unwind from the stressful life. Jungkook fell asleep after sometime as a result of Taehyung's magic hands that were gently combing through his hair.

Taehyung felt happy to see his baby sleeping so peacefully with his head laid on Taehyung's lap. He read his book till it was evening and woke up Jungkook as it was time to get ready for dinner.

"Kookie.. wake up. We should go now." Taehyung said in a gentle voice and Jungkook stirred a bit at that.

"C-can't we stay a little longer?" Jungkook replied in a sleepy voice and Taehyung almost gave up for that cuteness.

But he didn't want to waste the dinner plans that he had made so he had to refuse his husband's request.

"Sorry baby, but we will get late if we didn't go now. I promise, you'll love where I picked for dinner even more."

"Y-yeah?"

"Yeah. Now come on."

Together, they drove to a sauna where they took a shower and changed clothes. Everything was pre planned so that they wouldn't have to go home to change.

Dinner was at a beautiful restaurant. It had delicious food but was not that much crowded. Taehyung held Jungkook's hand as they walked towards the seats, directed by the hostess. As soon as they neared their table, Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise.

Taehyung had made arrangements to have a separate area decorated with a romantic theme. There were white lilies everywhere with little red heart balloons. Jungkook turned around to look at his husband who had a beautiful smile on his face.

"Happy anniversary, Kookie." Taehyung said in a soft voice just as Jungkook quickly stumbled in to his arms.

Jungkook held Taehyung in a really tight embrace for few seconds before whispering in to his ear.

"Thank you, Tae. This is amazing. I love you so much."

Taehyung pulled back a little and gave a soft kiss to Jungkook's cheek. "You deserve the best, Koo. I'm glad you liked it. I love you too."

Taehyung gently guided Jungkook to one of the seats and pulled the chair for him to sit. Jungkook raised his eyebrows at this gesture and gave a little bow with his head before sitting down, making Taehyung chuckle a bit.

A server came with a wine bottle and poured some to the glasses, and soon, another server came with their first course. Jungkook was surprised as they didn't order anything yet but realised that it's already arranged by Taehyung cause they each got their favourite food items.

Both enjoyed the dinner and the conversation very much. The years that they spent with each other was the best in their lives and both Taehyung and Jungkook looked forward to have many more like that.

After the dinner was over, Taehyung discreetly signalled the manager and within minutes, a server came with a beautiful cake with pretty candles on top. Jungkook watched with an open mouth as three people with violins came behind them.

Taehyung slowly got up from his seat and took two steps and kneeled infront of Jungkook. He had a bit of an nervous look as he started to sing a soft song along to the music.

His beautiful deep voice resonated throughout the restaurant and many of the dinners turned their heads to look at that scene. Jungkook felt few tears falling to his cheek as his husband sang a beautiful love song, just for him.

Just as Taehyung finished with the song, Jungkook got down to the floor next to him and hugged him tightly to his chest. He couldn't stop the faint sobs that escaped his mouth but Taehyung was not worried about it. He knows those tears are happy ones.

The fellow dinners and the staff clapped and congratulated them which Taehyung accepted with smiles and nods. Jungkook of course had his face buried in his husband's shoulder.

After Jungkook calmed down a bit they cut the cake and fed each other, instructing the manager to share some with the other dinners too.

After it was all over, Jungkook and Taehyung went home. And all Jungkook could think about on the way was how this day had been the best anniversary he so far had.

They top it all off with some amazing, hot and wild sex and fell asleep in each other's arms, thinking that it was a perfect day.

But that's only because they didn't see the two pairs of shocked eyes that watched them celebrate their anniversary at that restaurant.
