19 - All's Fair In War.

Jungkook had asked Kai to come to a meeting room first thing in the morning. He was trying to keep a hold on his anger as he wanted to ask the necessary questions from Kai with a calm mind.

"Hi Jungkook. Is something wrong?" Kai asked in a curious voice as he took a seat infront of a stony faced Jungkook.

"Yes, Kai. Something is very wrong. Can you tell me why you stole the marketing plan of Kim's team?" Jungkook asked the last part in a sneering voice and Kai shifted on his seat a little bit.

"Plans?? I didn't steal any plans." Kai tried to sound confident but the slight tremble in his voice clearly conveyed his untruthful thought.

"Don't you dare lie to me!!" Jungkook said in a loud voice as he banged his fist in to the table. "Your idea is an exactly copy of their one."

Kai was silent for few seconds but when he spoke, his voice didn't had the earlier unsteadiness. "Ok, I did. It's Kim's fault for keeping those document laying around."

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows a bit at that and Kai shrugged his shoulders with an arrogant smirk.

"He had them laying around? When? I didn't see any documents in the office."

"It was after work." Kai effortlessly spit out another lie. "He had forgotten them over that small cupboard."

"When?"

"The day before I told Yugyeom about the idea."

Jungkook immediately knew he was lying. On the day Kai was talking about, those documents were actually spread across his own kitchen table. Taehyung hadn't left them in the office.

"Bullshit!!"

"Why are you so worked up about this anyway!?" Kai asked in a annoyed  voice and Jungkook felt like punching the guy.

"Cause this is cheating!!"

"Oh come on Jungkook! Loosen up a bit. It's all fair in war. I did it for the team."

"This is not a war, damn it!! And don't you dare bring the team in to this. This is your personal shit."

Jungkook looked murderous and Kai seemed quite angry too.

"So this is the team moral you always talk about, huh Jungkook?" Kai asked as he gave a mocking laugh. "Or did that slut got you hooked for good?"

"Slut?!"

"I've seen the way you look at Kim. Tell me, what did he offer you so that they could win this? Don't tell me you already got a piece of him-"

Kai could not complete his sentence as Jungkook punched him full on the face.

"Yoongi hyung, where's Jungkook?" Liza asked as she turned her head to looks at Yoongi's direction.

"He talking about something with Kai, I think." Yoongi answered without even looking up from his laptop.

Taehyung was minding his own business but Yoongi's reply immediately caught his attention.

"Yoongi!" Taehyung said in a urgent voice as he got up from his seat and both Yoongi and Jimin snapped their heads at that.

Taehyung quickly walked out of the department with Yoongi and Jimin following closely. He was half running as he checked the meeting rooms with a dreaded feeling.

The duo was in the 3rd meeting room they checked and Taehyung had opened the door just in time to see Jungkook punching the guy. Taehyung swiftly moved between them and pulled Jungkook away from Kai while Jimin and Yoongi pulled Kai to the other side.
