Chapter 9

Dream woke up to the sound of Techno getting up and rummaging their cabinet for clothes. His eyes trailed the hybrid's back, admiring the scars from previous battles and wars.

"Where are you off to?" He asked, voice still hoarse.

The other, while buttoning up his top, answered him, "I'm just heading to the market for supplies, I'll be back later."

"Can I come with you?" He was slightly hopeful that the pig would allow him to leave.

Techno quirked a brow and looked at him with a small smirk, "Can you walk?"

An embarrassed whine left his mouth as he covered his flustered face, "I can!" He then proceeded to swing his legs off the bed but pain struck him immediately, "I-I can."

The hybrid chuckled and walked over to him. He tilted his head, confused as the other made him wear a top that was clearly not his, and started buttoning it up.

"What are you-?"

The other then stood up and grabbed something from the desk. A health potion. He watched with half-lidded eyes as Techno took a few sips before pulling him in for a kiss.

"Oh," A gasp left his mouth as he once again tasted the strawberry flavor of the potion. He moaned softly as the hybrid's hands tangled themselves in his hair, lightly tugging.

It never gets old.

The other pulled away and squeezed his thigh, "You think you can walk now? Or do I have to give you more?"

He glared half-heartedly at the pig and proceeded to stand up with no pain.

"What? No, thank you?" He heard Techno's voice from behind him with an amused tone while he went to grab pants.

"Thank you for railing and taking care of me, as every normal people do," He replied sarcastically.

The other laughed and he couldn't help but join in.

Sapnap stood up, ignoring his lover's call for him, and rushed out. The smell of roses was killing him, he was glad he could finally breathe again.

He walked around the city of Manburg, trying to calm himself. Trying to get Dream off his mind. That didn't seem to work as he heard a familiar wheeze from beside him.

He turned to his side to see two cloaked men, playfully fighting over who gets to hold the bag of groceries. The shorter's laugh was so similar to his blond friend.

He watched upset as the two laughed and ran off to who knows where.

A hand was then placed on his shoulder, he turns around to find Quackity with a worried look, "Sapnap, aren't you supposed to be at the funeral?"

"I got overwhelmed... why aren't you there? Karl and I were waiting for you," He didn't really feel like talking but it was Quackity.

The other sighed and grabbed his arm, "here... I'll just show you."

Quackity led him towards his and George's home. The two stayed together after their team's fallout. As they reached the house, the other turned to him.
