Chapter 3

(Jessica's P.O.V)

I was just kinda walking even slower into class then I saw one of my friends her name was Taylor, me and Taylor had been really good friends sense the first day of 5th grade,I'm not sure how but it was how it was.
So after talking to Tay for a few I went over to Mikey and sat next to him."Hey"He said."Hey Mikey" I replied." I have a question for you Michael." I said awkwardly. "Yeah what's up?" Mikey replied sounding a little nervous." What was your natural hair color?" I asked him " Brown" he replied he was dying of laughter and so was I. After like 2 minutes the teacher came in. She said we where gonna learn about different things every semester but, I was to busy focusing on my phone that vibrated in my pocket. Once she was done talking and went to get some papers I pulled out my phone it was from Calum.

Cal:
Hey want to come over later to hang?x
I responded quickly so I wouldn't be caught
Me:
Sounds good to me
Cal:
Great we'll walk together.
Me:
Okay
Then I look up and Mikey's looking at me and has this big grin on his face. He's just grinning like a big idiot looking at me. I push his shoulder and he smiles at me. Then the teacher came in and I put my phone on silent then back in my pocket. Next I had locker break which was good because Calum and I usually talk during locker breaks. But, I still head to my locker anyway to get some books.

"Hey Jess!" I hear a little to familiar voice call out and I turn around and it was Calum tuning towards me . "Hey why where you running you could've just walked"I asked laughing at him. I look at his face and see that he's been crying I pull him into a hug and it lasted for awhile until he pulled away and another rolled down his cheek I wiped it away with my finger and just looked into his eyes and I could tell he was really hurting and I don't know what happened but I'm gonna find out.
"Calum whats wrong why are you crying?"I say in a gentle voice giving him a little hug."I-I don't want to talk about to here." He said with his lip quivering."
Okay then how about for lunch we go to the field and sit under our tree and you can tell me then.Okay?"I asked still being calm with him. " Okay" he replied. I pulled him in for a hug and we just stood there hugging each other not caring about anything. " Promise me this try to feel better?"I said looking into his eyes."Okay I promise" he put his arm around my shoulder and we just started walking to class.

After class me and Cal walked outside and sat under our tree.We've been playing on this tree for years so it was our tree."You can tell me what's wrong now I won't tell anyone" I said keeping my voice soft as I leaned into him so his arm would be around me. "Come on Cal" I said playing with his fingers. "Okay, you know how I hate when people hate on stuff without any reason?" Calum said."Yes I know that's thing that you hate most about anybody"I said still playing with his fingers. "Well I was walking past a group of guy that was hating on the band and me and the guys ,it was some of the most hurtful things I've ever heard"he said as another tear rolled down his cheek I quickly wipe it away cuddling him even more giving him a little peck on the cheek. " Calum I know you and you are one of the coolest,weirdest, cutest, funniest and most talented people I know. So are the guys they're all amazing and you should know not to care what snobby, assholes was saying about the band , you know what they say if people talk about you it's because your life is more interesting then there's."I said holding his hand and still cuddling with him."You always know what to say to make me feel better Jess" Calum said squeezing my hand a little.
" you do the same for me Cal so I just returned the help." I said smiling then he smiled that cute smile of his. Then we make our way across the field with his arm still around me,we made or way to the cafeteria had some food and talked a little. Soon we had to go back to class I was on my way to language arts he was on his way to history. He gave me a hug and whispered in my ear "Meet me at the rink for 3:30,dress warm beautiful" he whispered in my ear. I blushed and turned bright red then we both went to class then went home.But I wanted to know, why are we going to the rink? He hates the rink he thinks it gives you frost bite. The only reason he would go there is for me so I wanted to know what's going on? Did he like me? Was this a date? And if it is my bf isn't gonna be happy. Then I walked into class put my books on the table and saw I had Kay in my class so I walked over and we started talking. Then my phone buzzed and I checked it,it was from Brooks my bf.

Brooks:hey
