(Calum's P.O.V)
Jess and I where driving to our place.Our place was a beach in the next town over.We would usually just sit on top of the life guard tower.We haven't been here in years but I know she remembers it.She tried to dry her eyes but she kept thinking about Michael so she kept crying.I acted like a dad to Jess sometimes but it's only because I care.As soon as we where parked and she could reach me she started crying into me.I was to familiar with the feel of her tears."Shh..Jess...shh calm down"I said stroking the back of her head."but he-he"she couldn't get out a few word without crying about the topic so I just pulled her into the back seat and let her finish her cry.
"Calum I should've listened to you about Michael"She said sniffling."You wanted to find out for yourself it's okay"I said still holding her as if I was gonna lose her again."Calum I really need to listen to you about boys more often"She said sighing."Maybe"I said laughing a little."Don't laugh you ass"she said lightly punching me in the side and laughing."Okay okay you win"I said throwing my hands up."Like usual"She said giggling.We finally got out of the car and went up to the top of the life guard tower.We just kinda sat up there and just over looked the ocean."Jess do me a favor and take a break from relationships for awhile"I said."Trust me way ahead of you"She said leaning in to me.Soon we went back to her house to grab her some clothes cause we where gonna have a Disney movie marathon at my house.
She had a package waiting on her door step."Um what's with the package"i asked."I'm not sure"she said picking it up."She opened it.I couldn't read the expression on her face.I walked over and saw a frame with a picture of her and Mikey but the picture looked like it had been cut up with glass or something.It had a note taped to the inside of the box.It wasn't even a note it was like a novel of pages.She sat down reading through every one of them.After everyone she looked like she had just lost a piece of her heart.After like the twentieth page she looked like she had just been hit with depression and anxiety at the same time."He didn't do it"She whispered."What do you mean"I asked."Well he did and didn't do it",she was really hard to under stand right now,"he was drunk and his ex went to his and changed the contact,everything that's happened to us came from his or my past"She said folding the note back up.
