55. Clean And Together

6th April 1989

"Mom, are we almost at school?" Asks Damon in the back of the car.

"Yeah, when are we gonna be there?" Asks Nick who was sitting next to him.

"Have a little patience boys, we will be there soon!" I say focusing on the road.

They both nod their heads and continue eating their packets of raisins.

It's been 1 year since Nikki's death. Well not death, overdose. Nikki is currently in rehab along with the full band! When I tell you this was something I was happy about, I mean extremely happy. 

Monday Mayhem had released a new album recently and we were going on tour in about 6 months. Kaizü moved to a new house and is really liking it there.

Izzy and I are still very close and he even takes care of the boys a lot. We hang out everyday.

Hayley, Hannah, Levi and Ren are doing amazing too. They are all happy and doing well. I recently went to Italy and visited Ren at her cottage and it was lovely. I really enjoyed it.

I parked up at the boys school and got out the car. The two boys got out the car and put on their backpacks.

"Ok, listen you boys. Have a good day and don't get into any trouble!" I say.

"We won't." They both say in unison with cheeky smiles.

They both hug me tight and I hug them. I watch them run into school and play with their friends.

On the drive home I thought about everything that had happened recently. So much had happened. I couldn't wait to see Nikki again. I haven't been allowed to visit him in rehab which really annoyed me. Doc said he would phone me whenever the boys were getting out.

When I got home I cleaned up the living room. There was the boys toys lying everywhere on the floor. I smiled at the thought of my precious angels and put their stuff in their toy box's. When I was putting everything away I heard the phone go. I quickly ran down stairs and picked up the phone.

"Hello, this is Ally Sixx." I say.

Even though Nikki and I were divorced and I no longer had his second name I used it because I knew soon I would become Mrs Sixx again.

"Hey Ally, it's Doc."

"Hey Doc, how's it going?" I ask.

"It's going good! I have some great news..."

"Tell me!" I exclaim.

"They are getting out of rehab.. today."

I stood outside, leaning against my car , waiting for the boys. I was anxious. What if Nikki didn't love me anymore? What if he wasnt actually clean?

"Ally.." says a voice.

I look up and there he is. His hair is no longer black it's brown. He has colour in his cheeks and is no longer pale. He has a large perfect smile plastered on his face.

"Nikki.."

I run up to him and hug him as he picks me up. I cry with happiness into his shoulder and he cries too. We stayed like this for a moment before I lifted my head up and kissed him passionately.

"I have missed you so much." I whisper.

"I have missed you so much too." He whispers also.

"Can I become Mrs Sixx again?" I ask.

"Of course, of course you can." He says.

My perfect family was together again.

Nikki and I sat in the car outside of Damon and Nick's school. We wanted to suprise them that their father was now home.

"So rehab was tough?" I ask.

"Yeah, really tough. We had to talk about our feelings and stuff. We had really deep discussions but it was good. We found out how each of us felt and stuff." He says with a smile.

"I'm so glad your clean, and we are back together again." I say with a smile.

"The one thing that kept me going in rehab, was knowing that when I got out I would be with you." He says.

His words got me emotional and I could feel tears start to roll down my cheeks.

"I'm so proud of you Nikki. So, so proud. I'm so happy your still here because I don't know what I would do without you. You mean the world to me. Your the light of my life. I love you so much." I say.

"Thank you. I love you so much too, Ally." He says.

We then hear the school bell ring and get out the car and wait for the boys to appear.

"You excited to see them?" I ask.

"Really excited, I have missed them so much too." Says Nikki holding my hand.

I smile and we wait for a couple of minutes. We then see the boys running out the school doors. They look around to see if they can see me. When they both do they smile. Then their eyes widen when they see their father. They both smile brightly and run up to him.

"Daddy!" The both exclaim.

They run into his arms and Nikki lifts both of them up. He showers the boys with kisses and hugs as the boys laugh with happiness.

We all get in the car and on the journey home we listen to some music. You're All I Need plays on the radio and during the full song I hold Nikki's hand.

I couldn't believe it. My family was back together again.
