42. Happy Birthday!

Today it was Damon's first birthday. I couldn't believe it. My little baby had been with me for a whole year, it felt like one week.

Nicholas is doing good. He is just like Damon! Rarely cries, loves attention. They both are my whole world.

Nikki has been going to a group to help him with his addiction which seems to be working well. He has been really happy recently and helping me a lot with the boys.

Today since it was Damon's birthday we were having everyone over for a party. It was exciting. The place was decorated from head to toe. Big Ballons, Banners, Party Hat's, the Full lot!

"So what time is everyone arriving at?" Asks Vince getting beers from the fridge.

"4:00pm so soon, I hope!"

About one minute later the doorbell went.

"I'll get it!" Exclaimed Nikki.

"Dude, no, NO! You were supposed to get him the little jack Daniels baby's bottle. Ya know the sippy cub shaped like a jack bottle!" Says Tommy looking at Vince.

"WHATS WRONG WITH THE VODKA ONE HUH? NOTHING THAT I GET OR DO IS EVER GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!" Shouts Vince.

"Looks like the perfect couple are gonna break up.." I say to heather and Sharise which earns a death glare from the boys.

Then walking into the kitchen is Guns N Roses.

"What's up dudes!" Says Steven excitedly.

"Someone's excited.." Says Tommy.

"Hell yeah! It's a dinosaur themed birthday party!" Replies Steven.

I roll my eyes with a chuckle as everyone places their presents to Damon on the large table.

"So today is a big day.." Says Izzy standing next to me.

"Yeah it is, thanks for being here. It means a lot to me." I say.

He pulls me in for a hug which I gladly except. We hug for a second before I pull away. I smile at him and he smiles back.

"What's up bitches!" Says Hannah walking in to the kitchen. "Guess who's back?"

I raise one eyebrow in confusion and Hannah stands to the side to reveal Hayley and her husband.

"Hayley!"

I run up and hug her and look down to see a little familiar bump on her stomach.

"Y-your pregnant.." I say, practically in a whisper.

"Damn right I am! Twins!!" She Exclaims.

"NO WAY! THATS AMAZING!" I exclaim.

"It is, this is my husband. Fred." I say.

"Nice to meet you!" I say shaking his hand.

"It's nice to meet you too! Hayley has told me wonderful things about you." He says with a smile.

I smile back at him and Nikki comes to stand beside me.

"Nikki, you know Hayley and this is her husband. Fred." I say.

"Nice to meet you Fred. Hayley great to see you again." He says with a bright smile.

"Well come on in guys! There is food in the kitchen and everyone is in the backyard." I say.

They smile and both head into the kitchen. I then hear little cries from upstairs. I run up the stairs and walk into the boys room to see crying little boys in their cots.

"Oh shshsh baby's, it's ok." I say walking over to them.

"Need some help?" Asks Tommy standing at the door.

"Yeah, actually that would be great." I say with a chuckle.

He laughs too and picks up Nicholas and I pick up Damon. I smile at Damon and he stops crying.

"Do you want kids?" I ask.

"More than anything to be honest. I can't wait to have little kids and teach them how to play drums and play guitar and stuff. I feel like it would be so much fun. If I have a girl I would make sure no boy is good enough for her and if I had a boy I would teach him how to get a girl!" He Exclaims.

"Hey! You need to teach the girl too, and teach the boy that no girl is ever gonna be good enough for them!" I exclaim.

"True, true." He says laughing.

We begin to walk down the stairs with the boys and when everyone sees Damon they cheer. Damon smiles and hides his head in my chest. When I get to the bottom of the stairs Damon sees Steven and reaches out to him. I pass him to Steven and Steven smiles at him.

"He wants me to hold him!" He Exclaims with happiness.

"He loves you steven." I say.

He looks at me with emotional eyes. I laugh at him and take Nicholas from Tommy.

"Can I hold him?" Asks Izzy.

"Of course!" I say giving him to Izzy.

I smile at the sight of Nicholas holding Izzy's finger.

"He loves you too." I whisper.

He laughs lightly as I smile. Then coming round the corner is Nikki with a video recorder.

"Say Hello everyone! I am making a video for Damon's 18th birthday so he can look back on his first!" He Exclaims.

"Hey Damon!" Everyone says in unison at the camera.

Damon looks at everyone with confusion wondering why everyone said his name. I laugh at his cuteness.

"Ma-ma." Says Damon pointing to me.

My eyes widen. Damon just said his first word. And it was mom. No way.

"Ma-ma." He repeats.

Izzy looks at him amazed as Damon giggles.

"D-did he just say what I think he said?" Asks izzy still looking at him amazed.

"Y-Yeah. Ma-ma. My name." I say getting emotional.

"Repeat that again for me little buddy." Says Nikki with a bright smile still pointing the camera at Damon.

"Ma-ma!" He Exclaims.

"Yes! That's my name!" I say a tear slipping from my eyes.

Steven laughs also crying passing Damon to me. I take Damon in my arms and hug his small little body tightly.

"I love you darling." I whisper to him.
