She gave a quick glance and Malfoy then gave a savage scoff at Snape. "Professor, I haven't done anything wrong to do work for you. I have a free period right now and I would like to spend it in the library along with my friends."
Snape pointed his crooked nose up and looked down at her with a successful grin. "Well, Miss.Brooks. Since you need a valid reason...you have just.....talked back with attitude to...a Professor. Therefore, I ask you to do me some work..with Mr.Malfoy."
"What will that work be, Professor?" She asked in defeat. Snape towered over her, gleaming. He waved his hand, telling them to follow him. Malfoy followed closely behind a Snape while she kept a distance from him. Malfoy did not look at her but just walked ahead with his hands in his pockets.
When they entered Snape's classroom, she looked around. The class was empty but a mess. It was then her shoulders dropped in discomfort. She knew exactly what they were going to do.
"I want...you to clean my classroom...as you did a very well job....the last time. Well then, get started." And he left with a haste after whispering a few words to Malfoy.
Malfoy stayed at the back and started picking up the books and parchment that laid motionless on the ground. She gazed around the room as if she was there for the first time.
"We both are here to do work. Do you fucking part." She turned her head to him. These words were too familiar but it was blinded by Malfoy's harsh words. She frowned heavily at him. He didn't look at her not speak to her after that.
She picked up the books and quills at front and placed them carefully at Snape's desk. When she was done, she went for the door and twisted the knob, but it didn't turn. Her eyes tightened when she had realized, Snape had placed the same lock charm on the door as before.
She leaned her on the door with closed eyes. Getting back again she sat far from Malfoy, who was still picking up the last bits of parchment. She tried her hardest not to look at him and the heat was surely helping her do so.
Weirdly the heat became unbarring. She didn't know why she wore all those clothes- why she wore long sleeves in the bloody summer. Glancing at Malfoy who was in a suit, couldn't imagine how bad it must be for him.
She fanned herself and closed her eyes, tilting her head back. For a brief second she felt as though a strong wind had come swerving into the room. Suddenly the room went quite cool and her sweat was soon disappearing.
Malfoy sat on the other side of where he did last time there stuck together. His wand was out. The thought of him causing the cooling charm was quite unbelievable. He looked straight a head with no feelings shown on his face. She wondered if he went back to the way he was. Before her.
An hour passed and there was still no sign of Snape. He was ought to have class soon. She was sleeping soundly and her head was turned towards Malfoy. She hadn't realized what he was doing.
He had moved closer one seat and had pulled out a book full of parchment. He seemed to be sketching a figure sleeping that looked a lot like her. Malfoy's lips were puckered and he was focussing very hard on every detail. From her plump lips to her puffed up cheeks to her long lashes to her long curly locks and her small beauty mark that rested on the left side of her lip.
With a satisfied sketch, Malfoy closed his book just as Snape walked in. Snape looked at Malfoy then at her sleeping form and instantly knew what had happened. He walked over to her and raised a book high above the table she rested on but stopped when Malfoy gave him a sour look.
Snape placed the book back down at the table next to her and pointed to Malfoy then her. Outside of Snape's door, he could hear a bunch of murmuring sounds of other students waiting to be called in. Malfoy hastened his steps towards her and poked his wand on her shoulder. She shuddered but flickered her eyes open.
"Get up. Snape's class is waiting."
She backed away from him a little bit and got up, walking towards the door. When she opened the door, a bunch of students came rushing in resulting her being pushed against the door- but her smile faded when she realized that doors weren't usually this soft.
She took a step forward and swiftly turned around. Malfoy stood in front of her with red cheeks but a cold expression. Her cheeks flushed and she for some reason bowed and walked away as quickly as she could. She didn't hear Malfoy walk behind her back at Snape's.
"Woah, slow down there mate- oh Brooks." Nott covered. His eyes shifted to her and then from where she walked from. "You've missed your last class. Divination was cancelled."
Taking a step back, she looked at his face clearly. His face was bruised and scarred. Her face took on a frown. She wondered what have they been up to? What was this "task" they were ought to do? Nott smiled how you would usually smile at a stranger walking down the street and he walked off.
Before she could call him back, Nott was already gone. So was Malfoy. Her heart sank. Has she been a little too harsh on the both of them. But then the sigh of his Dark Mark appeared in her mind as if she was staring at it- present day.
She closed her eyes. Her chest hurt. She found it hard to breath. When her eye closed, she saw livid flashes and bits of a event.
In her mind....
A bunch of screams rang through her ears. She saw herself but from someone else's perspective. She was unconscious. Pale as snow. Lifeless.
Hogwarts was completely destroyed and there were people running everywhere frantically. Harry was seen in front and looking down at her body. He was crying. The person turned again away from her body and her eye caught a glimpse of a bunch of dead bodies.
Her eyes opened and she saw now on the ground panting. The bracelet on her wrist that was from Sirius was vibrating horribly. A tear fell from her eye.
Did she just see...........
