Malfoy didn't know what to say. He was stunned at the burst of emotions from her. She hasn't exactly opened up to him like this and he doesn't know how to help her.

She can feel his gaze on her as she cries. She hated showing him how weak and numb she felt. She hated it. But she felt better telling someone.

Telling him.

Malfoy looked away and got up. He shuffled awkwardly. Moments later, he lifted his hand up and patted her head. She wiped her eyes and looked up at him in confusion.

He cleared his throat and walked back to his bed. Malfoy looked everywhere but her. Sighing, he pulled the sheets over him and turned his back to her.

She smiled. He did care for her. He just doesn't know how to show it. It's there.

Taking a deep breath, she stood up and clutched onto her pocket. Feeling the parchment, she took a a quick glance at Malfoy and walked out of the hospital wing.

Once no one was in sight, she continued walking and pulled out the paper. She squinted at the writing.

Did you do it? - B.L

It's possible for it to be written by Bellatrix, but who could it be for. Who could Bellatrix want to talk to? She started to break down the people.

First by houses. She shook her head to herself. "Not Hufflepuff." She mumbled. "Not Ravenclaw. It's possible for a Gryffindor. Most likely a Slytherin. It has to be" She nodded.

She took her charms text book out and turned to the last blank page. Walking into the library, she took a seat in the far corner where no one would find her.

She placed the book down and pulled out a quill.

1. Slytherin

She wrote. Glancing back at the parchment. She broke it down more. Bellatrix would want nothing to do with someone who is not a pure blood.

1. Slytherin
2. Pure blood

Bellatrix could possibly be talking to her family. She leaned back, not wanting to believe the possible outcome of her theory. She felt like she was solving an obvious mystery but didn't want to complete it.

1. Slytherin
2. Pure blood
3. Family?

She huffed out a breath and closed her eyes. She didn't want to think it was him. Believe it or not, she saw the tiniest good in him. Malfoy just had a hard time showing it.

She stared at the parchment. "Please don't be you, Malfoy. Please don't" she whispered.

"What are you doing here?" Parvati asked, sitting in front of her. She jerked back, slamming the parchment in her Charms text book. She shot up at Parvati.

Parvati looked at her, weirdly. "You alright, Rye?" Parvati asked. She looked at Parvati for seconds before opening her mouth but closing it again.

She couldn't think of an excuse. "I- uh- I'm fine...yeah. I'm fine. A-Okay" she laughed nervously. She was now seriously blowing her cover.

Parvati furrowed her eyebrows. "Um- okay. Well" She cleared her throat. "You are missing class. So you might want to get there" Parvati suggested.

"Oh yeah, I actually got hurt and Madam Pomfrey said I should rest today and go to classes on Monday" she said leaning in on Parvati. Parvati immediately stood up, awkwardly.

"Ah yes, of course. Feel better" Parvati rushed out of the library.

She laughed, looking at where Parvati, sprinted. She teased Parvati like this from time to time. Rye knew that she had the biggest crush on her. Padma had told her last year.
