"What the fuck, Ryera?" Malfoy grunts. She drank half of the drink and threw it back to him. She hugged herself as the breeze hit her. "Bit chilly, isn't it?" She asked. He looked at her, like she was crazy.

"What?" She asked. The alcohol now kicking in. She felt more drowsy. "You just drank half of my fucking expensive fire whiskey. You crazy bitch" He yelled, gulping down the rest of what's left in the flask. But the flask he drank from looked different.

She shrugs it off and giggles.

"Bitch. You called me a bitch. That's a funny word" she said. "I miss you, you know. How we'd come here when we were younger. We pretended we hated each other but behind closed doors-."

"Yeah, you're wasted Brooks" Malfoy slightly pushed her. "Go back to bed, yeah?" He said.

"Oh no no no. No bed for me" she sighed, enjoying the cold air.

Malfoy closed his eyes and murmured.

"What do you write in that book anyways? Some love poem?" Malfoy sneers. He shoves his hands into his pockets.

"It's my diary. And no, not a love poem. Just how my day goes. You know, what happens and all that nonsense." she shook her head.

"Might I ask, am I in there somewhere?" he asks, giving a sideways glance.

"I won't say. That's for you to think about. Whether or not, you have a major part in my life. Either in a good or bad way" she gives a toothy grin.

"Can I read it?" Malfoy slurred coldly.

She wonders how he can still talk like that even in his drunk state. Her mind wanders to her diary. Should she let him read it?

What? No. That's absurd. She can't let him read it. He's Malfoy. And that's her diary. Those two don't go well together. She cannot let him even touch it.

"Absolutely, not. I will never let-." She pointed at Malfoy before her head started spinning and she soon fell to the ground with a thud.

Malfoy gained his balance and scoffed. "You always were so gullible."

She opened her eyes slowly. "Rye, you're alright" Ron cheers but is quickly shut off by Hermione. "How you feeling?" Harry asked, holding her hand. "Heads killing me. Feels like it's about to explode. What have I missed?" She asks, sitting up slowly.

"Well, Rye. I was wondering how you got to the hospital wing. You were wasted- drunk. How did you manage to get here?" Hermione asked, with hesitation.

"What do you mean how I got to hospital wing? Did you guys not bring me here?" She asked, now confused more than ever. "No, Rye. None of us brought you here. We were informed this morning by Madam Pomfrey that was you were in the hospital, drunk, well you had a little bit of sleeping pills in you. She said that you were already laying here when she arrived" Harry squinted his eyes.

He was thinking of all the possibilities. "What's the last thing you remember?" Ron asked, trying to help ease the situation.

"The last thing I remember is talking to Ginny about why she was up drinking tea" she tries to remember as much as she can. "Is that all?" Hermione asked, eagerly. "I- I can't remember. It's all just a blur. I only remember talking to her" she admits.

Ginny walks in the hospital wing and stands at the edge of the bed. "You seriously can't remember anything?" She asked. "You asked me to cover for you while you went out somewhere".

She squints her eyes. Recounting back to the Three Broomsticks, laying her head on Ron. Waking up back at the dorm. Talking to Ginny.

"You asked me to cover for you while you went out somewhere"

No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't remember. It was almost as if, someone erased her memories. She rubbed her temples.

"I can't remember. I can't. Even if I was full out wasted, i would remember. I have a memory of a dolphin. I can remember everything easily. Someone tampered with my memory- erased it, perhaps" she shoots out. Hermione gasps.

"Who would want to do that?" Ron asked, looking at Harry. Harry furrowed his eyebrows. He glanced at her. "What do you think, Rye?" He asked.

"Im not sure who. I obviously can't remember anything" she laughed off. But she knew exactly who spelled her.

"I'm going to freshen up and meet you guys in class. See you later, eh?" She says. They nod and make their way out. She grabbed her things and walked to the door when something hit her.

She rushed back to where she was sleeping and her eyes searched. Panicking, she sprinted down the corridors, not realizing she bumped into Malfoy. He grunted and glared at her disappearing back but quickly averted his gaze.

She yelled the password and ran up the spiral staircase, into her dorm. Ignoring all the calls from her fellow friends. She yanked the sheets off and looked under the pillow. She huffed, tightening her eyes.

Her diary...

It was gone.
