It's been a few days since Harry, Ron and Hermione left. She had to beg them to stay for another day which they did but left early in the morning after leaving a letter for her to wake up to.
Luna, Dean, Bill have been great company but Fleur has been trying too hard.
To be honest. Everything did. She felt useless sitting around doing nothing. She's always felt this way. Before him. Before Draco.
He made her feel safe, loved, useful, beautiful. But now that he's not with her. It's slowly killing her. She would do anything to be with him. Though she knew the right thing to do was stay out and go to Hogwarts.
Luna and Dean were packing. While Fleur and Bill decided to pack lunch for them. She spent the first few hours of her awake, staring outside waiting for any sign of one certain eagle owl.
"You ready to go, Rye?" Dean popped up at the door and asked. Luna peering in behind him. She turned around and forced a smile on her face and stood up. "It's going to be okay, Rye. I promise." Luna grabbed her hand while Dean took her bags.
The three walked out of the room and went down to the door where Fleur and Bill were waiting. "Here iz your food. Could you tell 'arry to be careful." Fleur spoke to Dean. He nodded and grabbed the container out of her hand.
Bill gently pulled Rye from Luna and brought her away from the others. "Rye, this has been vibrating for longest time. I know Sirius gave it to you and what it does. Though I don't think you know."
Rye furrowed her eyebrows. Bill took this as a sign and handed her bracelet back and pulled out one of his own. Identical to hers.
"Sirius gave me one too. This is a bracelet that vibrates when there is trouble near. It only works for the owner and yours....has been shaking since the day you've arrived."
She looked down at her still shaking bracelet and frowned. "Rye....I'm telling you this because I care about you. You're my sister. I don't think you should go to Hogwarts. This could be safer."
Rye shook her head. "No, Bill. I have to go. If not for myself, I have to go for Christian. I lost him. And it ruined me. If I lose one more person, I would lose myself. I have to go. I have to fight. Don't worry about me, brother. I'll take care of myself." She said placing a smile on her face.
Bill sighed and looked deeply into her eyes. He pulled her into a tight hug and placed a kiss on top of her head. "Be careful, Rye. I don't want to lose you."
She nodded and walked to the door. Dean and Luna had already walked out. Fleur had her arms raised but dropped them. Rye bit her lip and wrapped her arms around Fleur. Fleur flinched.
"You're not that annoying, Fleur. Thank you." Rye said pulling away. Fleur had tears in her eyes.
"I'm zo sorry. I know I could be a little overwelmzing but I do really care 'bout you." Fleur spoke through her tears. Bill stood behind her and leaned against her. Rye smiled softly and shook her head.
"I understand Fleur. I'll see you guys soon." Rye said and waved, walking out the door. Bill immediately came through the door and hugged her again. "You okay?"
Bill sniffed. "Please be careful, Rye. Please." She nodded and pushed the hair from his forehead. "I love you, sis." Fleur sobbed. Rye gulped and heaved a heavy sigh. Why did this feel more like a 'goodbye' than a 'see you soon'.
