Every Picture Tells A Story

Prologue

I'm looking at a polaroid picture. Me and my bestfriends.

The three of us were best of friends. But unfortunately, nagbago ang lahat. Wala na. Magisa nalang ako.

I saw picture of us, kuha sa isang amusement park.

I remember that day. Birthday ko that time and my wish was to go to amusement park with them.

Ang saya pa namin nun. Nagtatakutan, nagtatawanan at naghahabulan. Funny thing is I was afraid of heights but still try every rides.

Pinilit kong labanan ang takot. And I did. I finally beat my phobia. Because of them.

"Red." A voice coming from someone who just entered my room.

I silently cry as I look at the pictures. Memories, Happy ones.

Naramdaman ko ang paglapat nang kamay sa balikat ko habang nakaupo ako sa sahig at inaayos ang mga gamit ko.

"Tapos ka na ba mag ayos? Kailangan na nating umalis. Baka ma-late tayo."

Pinunasan ko ang mga luha ko at ibinalik sa box ang mga pictures.

"Yep. Almost done." I said at tumayo para ibalik sa cabinet ang kahon.

"Thank you for coming with me Kyle." I said then hug her.

"I want this too. I want you to be happy. You are a fearless wanderer. Don't worry, i'm here. Always." She said as she tap my back.

"Take care baby.." Nanay said while crying.

I hug her. "Don't cry.. I'll be okay, don't worry."

"Tay." Niyakap ko din sya nang mahigpit.

"Magiingat ka dun. Always call us okay?" I nod at binalingan si kuya.

"Mamimiss kita kahit may Cya-d (Sayad- other term for saltik.) ka." Natatawang sabi ko sakanya tsaka sya niyakap.

"Umalis ka na nga!" Naka pout na sabi nya kaya natawa ako.

"Take care of Nanay and Tatay for me." Sabi ko bago kumalas sa yakap.

"Magingat kayo dito ha? Don't worry about me. I'll be good. Bye!" Sabi ko at naglakad na kami palayo ni Kyle.

I'm holding a picture of while sitting in the plane. Tahimik ang lahat pero eto ako tahimik na umiiyak.
