"Mom,  I missed you." I said as I tryed to jumped out of the bed to hug her, but I was quickly reminded that I was still hooked up to a machine." "Baby we have missed you even more. " My mom said as she stroked my hair. "Hey mom !" I called. "Yes, love ." She awnsered. "Wheres the $10 you owe me, you promised me that you would give me it about two weeks ago?". "You remembered!" She said as her face lit up with joy, and tears started to fall from her brown eyes. She ran out into the room and I could hear her scream for the docter to come see me. "Is she ok," Dr.Revon responded rushing through the door. "Yeah, she remembers me !" My mom awnsered. "Thats impossible its only been about a little more than a week and a half." He said confidentally. "Sir," My mom said trying not to show how pissed she was. "My daughter remembers something that happened a few days before the accident, can she leave soon."  "I understand ma'am, and I beleive you, but even if  what you say is true, there are medical checkups and evaluations that have to be done ." He answered. "How long would that take maybe a day or two ?" She asked. "The minimum amount of days she may have to stay could range from three to five days. "What, so long?" She asked. "Yes, please excuse me, I have to attend to another patient." He replied, not even waiting for a response from my mom. "I'm sorry honey, I know how much you miss home." She said trying to breaking the silence with a weary look on her face. "Mom, its ok I'm really fine. "Ok, hun, O and I almost forget, I left your dad and Kaylie in the waiting room."  She told me, before stepping out. I missed Kaylie so much, not too much the excessive whinning and crying, that I could definetly live without. "Annabelle!" I heard a little girl with multi colored beads in her hair sequel. "Hey, cutie whats up?" I asked Kaylie while putting her on my lap. "Nothing much, I miss you very much." She said fiddling with her fingers.

"I missed you too, but I promise you I''ll be coming home soon." I answered her. "Do you pinky promise?" She asked looking into my eyes." I promise. " I responding interlocking my pinkie with hers. "Okay, Kaykay time to go, your already late for school." My mom said. "Ok bye !" She said before giving me a quick hug. "Bye!" I said waving as she and my mom left the room.  As they left, it was only my dad left. "How's things been holding up?" He asked." Its Ok, I just wish things would get back to normal. "Yes, I know pumpkin, but sometimes a little change is just what we need to shake us .""  Yeah, I know."  "Sorry cutes, but I got to go, I don't want to get fired a week later, after I got hired." He said poking my nose. " Ok, bye dad!" I replied. "Bye, enjoy the rest of your day". He called out.  "I will." I said waving back to him.

I was about to play a another level of candy crash, when a tanish file on the desk beside me caught my attention. I guess I hadn't notice it before, but somehow it caught my attention. I scanned through it, but what I saw on my birth records paper, gave me the shock of my life. I'm talking heart attack. Where's an aspirin when you need one?
