MEET AND GREET

Chapter 3

"Class I would like you to welcome Chloe to our class, she just moved here from Boston." our teacher loudly announced. I rolled my eyes.

Flashback ~

* When I was 11, I went up to a week long summer camp in  Massachusetts. It was the first time in a long time when I was away from Caleb, and I had begged my mom to stay. Her rationale for it was that I needed social interaction from other kids my age. It was a lame excuse but I had no choice. So when I went to camp we had to a stay in cabins. I had to share a bunk with Chloe, who at the time I thought was normal ( I however soon enough realize I was completely wrong).  I had took the bottom bunk, because I often had to use the bathroom in the night and being closer to ground would make the trip a whole lot easier.  Chloe then came in and started to whine and complain about me having the bottom bunk. Take make things easier I suggested we flip a coin. I called heads and she picked tails. I let a counselor flip the coin and it landed on heads. It was afterwards that all hell let loose. She did horrible pranks on me, such putting milk and cereal in my sneakers and putting toothpaste all over my face while I slept. I told the leaders in camp what she was doing, but not only did she not stop, she also lied about it.*

People in the class extended their hands to greet her, however I knew better and kept my distance. The lunch bell rang and I thanked God as I bolted out of the room. But then I saw her with Caleb.

I saw a slim girl with  straight brown hair and tan skin near him, and as she turned around and I saw her hazel eyes  I knew it was Chloe. "Hi" ,she said cheerfully. "Hi !" I mumbled." Have you met Chloe ?",  Caleb asked. "Yeah, we met in camp remember I told you."I said. For a second there was a pause, then he looked at me and responded,  "Oh yeah,  so you're Chloe from camp". Chloe face get blank, and said," Guility, Annabelle I'm truly sorry for how I treated you before please forgive me." I was going to say no way,  but then Caleb nudged me and I blurted out I'm sorry.

With that we linked hands together and headed towards the lunch room. We had lunch together and laughed together like old friends would. Chloe also introduced me to her best friend Lea who was very shy and barely spoke a word and I met a really cute student named Aaron in Caleb's first period class  . Did I mention the lunch was actually good, that was definitely a first.  Afterwards Caleb, Lea and I had French together followed by Art which I only had with Chloe and last period we all had Biology together.

As the teacher asked a question on genetics my mind wondered off, making me question if forgiving Chloe was a big mistake.
