Chapter 10

"Come in." I said as I opened the door. As he sat down on the couch, I offered him a drink ( being the good hostess I was). "No, thanks I just came really, to apologize. I'm really sorry for how I acted towards you. For ignoring you and everything. I know i'm probably the worst best friend in the world, but if you could forgive me, I''ll make it up to you." He said staring at me for a response. "I knew it, all those times I showed up at your door to apologize to you, and you coincidentally were never home." I said with anger. But as I looked into his hazel eyes, I knew I couldn't stay mad at him. "I'm sorry, and I forgive you." Now come give your best friend a hug, I said motioning for him to come. We spent about a good two hours, just talking and laughing. I even told him about Aaron. He afterwards offered to have him jumped for me, which I had actually considered. Just then, I remembered I had to call Lea. As I called Lea, a familiar voice awnsered. "Hey is Lea there," I said "Um she's busy ( long pause), taking a shower." the person responded. "Okayy, tell her Annabelle called and to respond ASAP." No problem." the person on the other line, said a little to cheery. Caleb soon left and I was once again, stuck home by myself babysitting Kaylie. It was officially the most boringist ( if that's even a word) Sunday ever.

~ The Next Day~

It finally felt like things were starting to look up. Caleb dropped by in the morning to walk me to school, and I actually arrived to class in time a good 5 minutes before class started. Now that's a world record. Nothing interesting really happened. I had to sit through crappy classes and interact with my annoying peers. The lunch bell soon rang, in which I practically jumped out of my seat. As I went to my locker a tall person stood in my way. "Excuse me."I said, brushing past them. "Anna, I need to talk to you". The person responded. There was only one person I knew that had called me Anna, and it was Aaron." Please, I really need to talk to you." He said pleading." But right know I don't want to see you, so If you don't mind there's some place. I need to go." As I turned to walk away, I remembered I had forgotten to do something. I walked right up to him, and kicked right where the sun dosen't shine. As he crouched down in pain I smiled knowing that I probably lowered the chance dramatically of him being able to have children. "Take that." I said.

Ms. Lovaine please come to the office, oh man not again, I thought to myself as Principal Matton called me over the P. A system." Ms.Lovaine first you started a food fight, now your bullying kids. Your behavior is not tolerated at this school. Now if I hear you do anything again in this school, I swear I''ll gladly expel you from this school." He shouted. "Are we clear ?" "Crystal sir," I said, trying not to sound to sacastic. "Now ,I could suspend you for your behavior, instead your punishement today would be to carry around all Aaron's books and stuff and you will be excused from class; since he is apparently in pain right now. With that a smile creeped up on my face again. The smile didn't last for long though. As I saw Aaron wheel himself out the room. A flood of guilt came upon me. I guess I kicked him really hard. As we went down the hallway side by side, there was a awkward silence present between us. "I'm sorry about kicking you , I didn't think it would hurt you so bad. " I said kind of shamefully. "Anna, please don't apologize, I'm the one that really hurt you. I should have never promised them, I would bring you to the party.  I should have protected you from those guys. Can we see still be friends? " he asked. "I'm not sure if that's such  a good idea, but I''ll think about it." I said. " Please think about it." he asked. " I will." I responded. As I excused myself to the bathroom I couldn't help but wonder who was "them". Who told him to bring me and why? I walked into the bathroom, but was surprised ( sortof), when I saw a girl being beaten up by twiddle dum and twiddle dumber. "Stop !" I shouted. Annabelle please stay out of this, the person shouted. Wait, the person knew me. As I slowly went closer I soon realized who it was. I didn't hesitate to help her. But would she have done the same for me?
