THE TEACHER

Chapter 12

"Sure I''ll meet you at 5, no problem, I''ll see you later, okay, bye." I said as I hung up the phone. Leone and I had been dating for 4 weeks 6 hour 7 minutes, not that I was counting or anything. This evening he was meeting me at a fancy french restaurant. I couldn't wait, but that was the problem. It was 7:00 in the morning, and I couldn't wait another minute, let alone 10 hours. I was slowing dying from excitement. School was no help. It felt like last period was never going to end, especially with my crazy math teacher.

As the bell rang, I picked up my bag and proceeded to leave. But to my surprise, I was locked in by my teacher. " Where do you think your going? " my teacher, asked blocking the doorway. "Home." I responded. "Young lady, I dismiss you not the bell .When you are  done the problem on the board and I have seen it you could leave." She answered. "Miss, I have somewhere to be !" I screamed. "Well now you have detention." She said. By this point her face was turning a shade of red. I'm talking cherry tomato red. "For what, having a life, or wanting to get out of this death hole? " I asked. "Keep talking and you''ll have double the detention." She said. "But miss!".  I whinned. 'That's it one week detention, starting right now, take a seat! " she said furiously. Last time I checked double the detention would be 2 detentions, not a whole week.  "Fine!" I said defeated as I took a seat. There was no way I was winning that battle. She smiled as she moved from the door way, to allow the rest of the class to leave. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, I realized I wasn't the only one having detention. Aaron was there too. Wopti do isn't that great. As Aaron tried to make chit chat with me, I realized he reminded me very much of Leone. Thankfully the teacher allowed me  to leave earlier, after I pleaded and reluctantly apologized to her.

I quickly grabbed my jacket from the locker, before I started my journey home. I arrived at 4:35. Oh crap, I said to myself as I realized I was going to be late. I quickly freshened up, got dress and was about to leave the house, when I realized I was missing one key thing - a ride. I quickly dialed Caleb number, who thankfully drove me.

"So you really like, Leone?" Caleb asked while driving. "Yeah, a lot." I said blushing. "Well, just don't rush into things. I remember when we were 13 just four years ago, this boy bought you chocolate, and you pretty much wanted to marry him afterwards." He said laughing. "I did not". I said laughing as well. Caleb and I spent rest of the time in the car arguing about what I did, until we finally reached the restaurant. "Be safe." He called out. "I will, thanks for the ride, bye! " I said as I waved to him.

From here on my life got so much more dramatic and not in a good way.
