Chapter 8

It was the day after we saw Lea with a black eye and swollen face. Being the good friends we were we haunted Lea down, cornered her and demanded she tell us the truth. But Lea refused to and told us to just stay out of it. Even though Lea told us to stay out, I couldn't help but wonder about her. When I was about to go find Lea again, Aaron bumped into me. "Sorry, I didn't see you there." he said. "Its okayy." I said blushing. "Um would you mind coming over on Saturaday to help me study for the chemistry exam on monday ?" he said, snapping me out of the trance. "Of course not, what time ?" I asked. "Around nine, will be fine." he said. "Okayy, I guess I''ll see you there", I responded. "Bye", he said before leaving. It took all my might not to start brake dancing right there in the middle of the hallway. I soon wondered why he wanted us to study so late, but I didn't care, Aaron had just asked me out and I was psyched up.

Saturaday night came faster than I expected. I had planned to just wear a pull-over hoodie, and a blue washed out denim jeans. But Chloe insisted I wear something more decent. Whatever that meant. So I ended up wearing a long floral maxi skirt, with black flats and a cute jeans jacket. As I neared the house, I heard music blasting from around there. As I was debating, whether or not to go back, Aaron came out and insisted I come in. This clearly was not a study date, I mumbled to myself. He led me to the back of the house where all the kids where, either drunk, knocked out, or making out. "Annabelle do you wanna a drink ? " he asked. "No thanks I'm good." I said. "Come on anna, at least have some sprite! "he whinned. "Fine", I responded . When I was done drinking it, I felt strange though. Not long after Aaron and his friends started to pull me into a room. "Let go of me!"I screamed. "What happened, are u scared princess", one jarred. "Aaron I want to leave, make them stop" ! I yelled. "There''re just having a little fun." he said laughing. As they started to pull my jacket off , I continued to scream. But my head started to spin, and I started to feel real sick. With all my energy I started to scream and fight them off. Right then a young guy with brown hair, saw that I was surrounded by guys. He grabbed me and managed to get me out of the house, before anything also could happen. "Do you need a ride home?" he asked. "Yes, please !" I said frantically. "Jump in ! " he said motioning for me to come in. The car ride was quiet and I almost fell asleep. "Thanks, for everything ." I said as he pulled up. "No problem", he said. "By the way I'm Annabelle, you are ?" I asked. "Oh I'm Leone and have a gudnite, Belle." he said as he waved, driving off. I smiled at the fact, he had already given me a nickname already.

When I went home, I jumped in my bed, and not long after I was sound a sleep, with not a care in the world. Little did I know I was far from that.
