Chapter 6

I went to school feeling so happy. Of course the teachers got on my nerves but I didn't care I was just happy. Nothing could ruin my mood, or so I thought. At lunch time they served tuna salad, and salsa with tortilla chips along with spaghetti and sauce. All of which I had to take..As I was returing to my seat, someone tripped me and soon I was heading face down into the salsa. The whole cafeteria erupted into laughter." You idiot, why the hell did you trip me ?" I yelled in her face. What are you talking about, I didn't trip you." she said. "Yes you did. First you stole Caleb from me, now you're lying about tripping me. You no good lying, cheater, backbiter !" "Annabelle calm down she didn't trip you !", Caleb screamed." Stay out of this !", I said "Annabelle I said I didn't trip you , and I'm not trying to steal Caleb. I would never do that to you."she said with hurt in her voice. Just as she was leaving I took up the tuna salad and threw it at her. She immediately spun around, grabbed a bowl of salsa from a table nearby and threw it at me. Soon after some boy from across the room shouted food fight, and before I could leave I was getting hit with tuna salad, salsa, and spaghetti. It was clearly the wrong day for me to wear my white pants. Not long after the principal came in and demanded we tell him who started the food fight. At first no one responded but then he threatened to punish everyone in the cafeteria. Before I knew it I was getting a month detention and one day suspension. Oh great I said to myself. As I was leaving the cafeteria, lea told me how it really was Erin that tripped me and not Chloe. All of a sudden I felt sick to my stomach and it wasn't because I smelled like spoiled tuna.

After school I decided to visit Chloe to apologize to her, because the guilt inside of me was eating me raw alive. Okayy, maybe I'm overexaggerating a little, but I really was feeling bad about how I treated her. As I rung the bell, a girl that looked like a older version of Chloe answered the door." Hi is Chloe there ?" I said nervously. "Yeah, come right in." she said with a smile. As I walked in I saw Chloe behind the door. "Chloe I'm really sorry about how I treated you, I was just jealous please forgive me." I said. "Okayy." she said. Then she pulled me into a tight hug. It felt like a snake was trying to strangle me. But what Chloe told me next, left me speechless and shocked.
